Hardly visionary idea is it? The thick cunts in charge of ours will get to this idea in around 10 years.

Asked for a coffee other week, got a bovril, pointed this out, got a tea, third time a supervisor came over to explain where the coffee was. Jesus wept.
Have you ever tried having sugar in Bovril? Sounds awful but actually works on many different levels. Purchased by accident once and now my go to pre-match drink.

The other interesting thing on Saturday was the mass exodus when 4 minutes added time at the end of the game went up. ‘Oh well even Utd can’t concede 2 in that time so I’m off’
I did enjoy the singing of "you've seen united now fuck off home"...yet the only ones leaving were blades 😅 still accurate I guess!

Seemed like quite a few of them were starting to leave in large groups around 85 to 88 minutes.

Another thing, me and my dad always exit the Kop onto John Street after the players have gone back in, but on Saturday we left through other side of the Kop as it looked really packed/congested at the John Street exit for some reason, usually we have no problems leaving that way.

Personally no issue with folks leaving with 5 mins or so to go , espressially if the game is done and dusted.
I try and time it to be at the exit just as the whistle is blown , saves time queueing to get out and the inevitable 15 minute queue at the bar for a post match pint .
Some games I'll stay to applaud off as really depends on the match .
Each to thier own I guess

This is bad enough, but it’s absolutely pathetic when people leave early at full time. After the players have grafted for 90 minutes for your club the least you can do is stick around for 5 minutes to show your appreciation at the lap of honour.
People have public transport to catch, people are driving and want to avoid being in traffic, people want a pint and don't want to be queuing ages for it, and a fair amount of people can probably think of something better to do than stand there clapping a bunch of blokes because they've played football. Sometimes I leave early, sometimes I stay, who cares one bit.

I think people leave 10 mins before HT is to beat the slow as fuck queues for a pint. Man city have a good system where you can buy beer tokens before the game, there's a place on the concourse where you can exchange said tokens for already poured pints.
Great idea tbf. Putting those tokens into vending machines could be another option to speed things up AND Increase the choice of beer. @sufcfanservices

It depends how far you have to travel to after, a lot of fans don't live local any more but still travel to see the Blades. I always stay to full time but if I wait while they work their way round from John St to the South Stand to applaud it can mean missing a train and getting home at 9PM rather than 8.

I know what you mean, but I think the point would carry more weight if the players weren’t being paid over half a million pounds a year for those 90 minutes of graft each week. It’s a nice gesture to stay and applaud, but I’m not sure it should necessarily be an expectation of every fan.

From my vantage point in the Westfield Corner, I noticed that, on around 35-37 minutes in there was a mass exodus from G & H Block to the bar. Not one or two here and there, but streams of people.

I thought these were meant to be the proper Bleds? But with an entire 10 minutes of the first half still to go, these "Blades" are more bothered about Madri than United.
There was also one from John Street gangway H. So noticeable I started singing 'Is there a fire drill?'
And no, I'm not joking.

They can do what they like for me as long as they get out of my line of sight sharpish. What does piss me off is the twats who are so drunk/ coked up when they arrive late or come back to their seats they just want to be the centre of attention and everybody has to put up with their OTT shite.

I get all the ‘fans can do what they want’ brigade. That’s fine. But given everything that’s happened over last season and the summer, I personally want to thank the players and management for a performance like Saturdays, and making me feel connected and enjoying watching the Blades again by staying after the final whistle.

I personally think they are all a bunch of overpaid pricks but I still go and watch, we all have different opinions, and yes obviously I've clapped them off and celebrated at the end of games too.

I'll leave a minute or so before the end if the result's not in doubt. If we're 2-0 up with two minutes to go and you don't want to queue 20 minutes for a pint I think that's acceptable. If there's only one goal in it or if we're drawing I'll normally see it out

kinda pathetic the amount of time people spend drinking at the game as opposed to watching and supporting their team despite having paid for a ticket. Alcohol is a priority for many…..

So you don't particularly like alcohol, fine.

It's a free country but why waste your time moralising on a football forum?

For the record, I drink before and after the game and being in the middle of the kop, just about manage a piss at half time without missing the game. I don't moan about needy 5 year old and their parents, queuing for a chocolate bar, or pie addicts who can only just make from one game to the next.without a fix.

This. There are plenty of pubs outside the ground and there is plenty of time left in the day / other days to drink. For some, the priority seems to be overpriced beer / shit food rather than the price of the match ticket. I just don't get it.

I’m in the each to their own camp but I think I mentioned it on some other post, compared with a few years ago it takes the players an eternity to come over to the Kop/South Stand after the match.

It’s just the way the game is so it’s not a criticism but by the time they’ve stood in the centre circle shaking hands with everyone and their grandmother and then spent an eternity at the JSS end, it can often by 5-6 mins after the full time whistle before they make their way over.

Again, that’s not been critical but might be a reason why some fans decide not to hand around
