Might be wrong (usually I am) but watching that today , when we play them Vini will be patting bannan,s shiny bald patch whilst he's in his pocket , Plymouth just didn't have anyone sat like we do !!!
I've noticed watching the games over this first weekend so long as we sort putting chances away we'll be there or there abouts 😁

Knuckled down, no nonsense approach. Did his job as he was expected to do. No sulking like last season

I had him down with Brooks and Blaster as joint MOM with even Anel not far behind

Well done to both and I’ve been one of his and Anels biggest critics

They now have to go out and show us it wasn’t a fluke
 
Lots are talking about how bad Preston were, but we absolutely monstered them in midfield.
Technically, physically, we just looked a class above. I think Souza, Hamer and probably even Arblaster and O'Hare get into every other side in the division. They'll make better than Preston look bad.

He's joined the back staff at Wayne Rooney's Plymouth, he's the nutritionist. He doesn't work with the players, just Wayne Rooney, and he's doing a cracking job.

Based on his pre season performances and that against Preston on Friday , it is almost like watching an entirely different footballer to the one we saw last season .

Gone is the lazy , sulky and apparently disinterested attitude he showed then to be replaced with one of determination and commitment to the cause , which have been both highly commendable and extremely effective .

He also looks to be fitter and stronger ,and all these new found attributes combined with his natural ability point to the fact that he could well prove to be an outstanding performer at this level .

Six months ago I would have been happy to see him go for anywhere near the money we paid for him . Now , I would be delighted to see him stay and fulfill his potential to become one of our most successful and influential players in the season to come .

I despised Souza last season and this summer, but he's been good so far this season. Whether that's because he's been playing for a move, who knows. These next few weeks will tell the truth. If he was playing well for a move and didn't get one and goes back to the player he was last season, then **** him! If not and he stays good, then he's slowly coming down my list of players I despise. Mousset remains #1 with Nade close behind. Anel is still up there and has a lot to do to win me back over.
 
Get the feeling that if Souza is loved, he will be amazing, the moment he isn't he stops giving his all. Still remember his interview after Luton. He genuinely seemed like he wanted to keep that feeling going. I really do hope he keeps up his recent good performances, he is someone I really think could be a bit favourite at the club. Just a shame we all had to deal with last year's mess

Agree that Anel and Souza need to show us something this year. Both have started well in my opinion. Let’s see after ten games.

How can you despise Mousse though?! Don’t think he downed tools / threw toys out the pram. He was just a complete idiot. And for a few games there (like, 5 games 😂) I genuinely thought we had one of the top strikers in Europe playing for us. Worth the 12m (or whatever we paid) just for that IMO 🥲

I despise him for his complete lack of professionalism in getting himself out of shape and not being able to manage more than 60 minutes over two and a bit seasons due to lack of fitness.

He had all the attributes to be a top Premier League goal scorer but lacked the desire and professionalism to become one. It annoyed me how much he was earning to not do his job and I'm glad his career has gone down the toilet since he's left us. **** him!

He was the same with my 10 year old granddaughter who was over from Australia as he arrived at the ground for the Wrexham match. She now idolises him. How people are with kids (& animals) says a lot about them. Irrespective of his footballing abilities, he’s a top bloke.
