We were already top. We went too when we beat Brighton 5-4 in the 4th game and we stayed top until we drew at Port Vale in December. We were second for the rest of the season save for one game, when we dropped to third after the defeat at Leeds.

Oh yes, you're right. I was surprised we were top after Brighton and surprised we remained top after the Hull draw.

Something going wrong with the permalinks from my side. Trying things out to sort it but takes time to know what the culprit is. Took me about 2 weeks last time to get it to function properly. Technology is shite
