Superb. Quiet, understated (other than the goal) just mopped up and did everything right. What a player we have on our hands.

FAO Premier League scouts...he was wank, you don't want him, fuck off.

(Well done Oli, superb performance and first goal for your boyhood club. That must have felt amazing)

He's gonna really grow this season all being well.

That's my thinking anyway.

Hopefully we grow with him.

And before we get down about ever being in the prem again. It can be fun if you have a squad that can compete.

Not so when you don't.

Yeah was quality tonight have to say I though all the midfield played well and seing Brooks and arblaster play like is good to see. Also shows what our academy can produce

So calm and assured. I really like him in centre mid. Whiteman tried to leave one on him a few times but he wasn’t flustered at all. He needs an out ball but we seem to set up to give him that. Really impressed.

I thought all were good tbh. Hamer gave it away a few times but showed his quality for the second, which we needed and was perfect in terms of timing. There was a lot to like tonight.

Having players like Brooks and Arblaster coming through the academy is amazing. Two players that would walk in to any championship side and will no doubt go on to play in the prem (hopefully with us again), and they're Blades to top it off. Love to see it.

I didn’t realise/appreciate how good he is. Unless Preston are just garbage opposition

Souza was man of the match by a country mile. The work Vini put in, and the calmness with how he went about it bought precious seconds for the other lads. Blaster's a great prospect and has a good head on his shoulders. A little slow and his passing can be less than accurate but he was good tonight, they pretty much all were.I

Manage him right and he'll be a top player, let's hope we get it right.

Not sure if this is common knowledge already, but I've been told by someone who knows Arblaster's family that his agent was pushing him to move this summer and he out right refused to even entertain it. He's got the world at his feet, he's absolute quality and we're lucky to have him, and I know he's a Blade, but it's good to see him showing that commitment, no wonder Wilder gives him the captainship when he displays all the qualities we want to see as fans.

Lovely stuff. Agents work for the players, some of them need to remind themselves of that.

No one should begrudge him if he’s goes in the next 12-24 months. He’s such a fantastic player. Will captain England and be another one we should be very proud of:

LIVING ALL OUR DREAMS

I just hope the club can continue to show the same commitment to him, he's earned it, but as we know, every player has his price in this industry

He is potentially a great player, but let’s not go over the top just yet. He makes mistakes like any player and perhaps a few too many at present.
I hope (and expect) him to progress during this season to be PL ready come June. Whether he chooses to go then or wait another year for us to accompany him is his decision.

This is true. I heard from an associate of the agent. He also manages Mcatee. Arblaster could’ve easily gone to Prem (Brentford) but didn’t entertain it.

Arblaster is special. At 20 he has so much talent. Of course he will have off games. I watched him more closely on Sunday than I normally would. He is class on the ball. And the way he turned away from the opposition players and kept possession was a joy to behold. He certainly won’t be we us next season if we don’t get promoted.

Never ever heard it called captainship before , captains armband yes , captaincy yes , captainship nah , that's like saying Nottingham county

And yet there are folk on here who would prefer not to go up this season.

They'd like to lose Souttar , Gilchrist . JRS , Blaster , Souza , Hamer & Anel and then see how we do on smaller parachute payments if any.

As much as we hate the experience , we need to go up asap.

You can add Ipswich to the list. McKenna apparently loves him? Again, apparently he wasn’t interested?

My own opinion is that if we fluke promotion we may get to keep him a little longer. If we remain in this division and the right club shows interest (right club in the right location) he may move on?

I think we all realise we have a rare talent and let's hope we get to see him for a couple of years before he goes to one of the bigger clubs. And get a decent fee for him. Fingers crossed.

There are players for whom going to a big prem club would be a mistake and harm their development. I don't think that's the case with Blaster, he'd work his way in most squads eventually.

Which makes his loyalty even better if true.
