Hands up if you get a kick out of slagging off players while they are actually wearing the red and white shirt incessantly because they aren’t your cup of tea.
Constructive Critisim dear boy. Big difference.

And a chasm between that and the childish boo boys !!

Hands up if you got a kick out of booing our ex player on to the pitch ?

I’d calculate there was as many as 10,000 of yous.

Every home game needs a pantomime villain.

The irony for me, was bringing him on brought the crowd back into play and gave our players a real lift (esp Peck - more about him later!!). Any chance they had of scoring by us being slack, complacent, losing concentration went out of the window....

Our fans are usually very good at welcoming back former players to The Lane, particularly when they've had a decent career here or a few good seasons contributing to the team effort. Not so with Daniel Jebbison.

Jebbison did fuck all on the pitch for The Blades, despite being given plenty of opportunities. He seems to have pissed off a lot of players and staff with his behaviour over the last twelve months or so and despite the rumours of a "mystery illness" ruling him out of playing, he suddenly looks as fit as fuck and gets the move to the Premier League he craved. Will Osula left for Newcastle United with most supporters best wishes because basically, he put a shift in last season and didn't nesh out of playing like Jebbison.

The reception he got today was fully deserved.

I could not disagree with you more.

If you were an ex player visiting your old club, and were roundly booed on to the pitch, would you likely :-

a. Shrink like a todger in an ice bath.
b. Use it as fuel to your already well lit fire.

???

Big clue. For 99% of pros, it’s b. Without question.

Yet, today, Jebbison was in the 1%....

This topic bores the hell out of me. I pay my money and I'll boo who the fuck i want. I'm not having some boring moron tell me it's bad, cheap, tacky.... If I want to boo, I'll damn well boo ....

Sander Berges recent reception pisses all over what you state above.

And I’ll guarantee the reception McSunburn gets will be an embarrassment by direct comparison.

We do have a peculiar criteria for our heroes down in S2 don’t we !!!

Constructive my arse. You constantly slagged off Clarke and McBurnie for years because of course you had a better trained eye than the rest of us. Then you have the nerve to chastise a fair chunk of our fans for digging out Jebbo. Tell me. Would you have been as quick to defend tonight if it had been Clarke and McBurnie? Both players who have had done more for the club than Jebbo has?

My constructive criticism of players has, bluntly, fuck all to do with booing.

Booing officials.
Booing players.
Booing the fucking programme man.

It’s akin to the acts of petulant 4 year olds. That’s my opinion. I’m standing by it.

If it suits you to link the 2 together in order to assist a point you make which justifies the actions, and attempts to play down my own point by referencing completely off piste subjects, knock yourself out.

Happy for you 👍.

Well that didn’t happen today. The only thing he did was get a yellow card🥴

I think you need to sit down and log out of this forum before you spontaneously combust pal🤣

I'm sure I heard on the TV commentary that Wilder had encouraged the supporters to give him a hostile reception.

It’s slating players whether they are ex or current, at the match or on a forum. So I’ll ask you again. Would you have been as quick to defend Clarke or McBurnie in the same situation? Go on. A simple yes or no will do

Fuck off with the woke nonsense, He’s a disrespectful little Wanker. The way he treated the club and, by extension, the supporters was disgraceful. You saw today what the players and coaching staff think of him.
Woke? 🤣

I didn't boo him because booing is performative shite but it's a shame it was the left-back chopped down by Hamer and not Jebbison, good riddance to the Andrew Tate worshipping c()nt.
What's this Tate connection?

Whether he deserves it or not (I’d lean to does). It’s a fun bit of pantomime imo that lifts the atmosphere, no different to if he’d scored and cupped his ears. It’s the same as getting on the ref’s back whether the decision was justified or not.

Years ago Sharp got it, and gave it back when he scored for Donny against us. It’s just part of the game.

I bet Osula and Mcburnie will get a good reception, funny that.
Especially in the case of Osula, he didn’t do too much in a United kit either. If and when he comes back, he will probably get a good reception, because unlike Jebbo, he didn’t sulk around and actually cared for the club.

Both had similar United careers, but Osula will be looked at more fondly, because he didn’t actively disrespect the club like Jebbo did.

Fair do's; you have your view, I have mine.

All I'll say is, if you thought that reception today and the one for Sander Berge, was bang out of order, it should be interesting when our former goalkeeper, who, let's not forget, refused to play for us until he got his dream move to Arsenal, next rocks up at Bramall Lane.

I'll wager that twenty odd thousand fans singing "one greedy bastard" will contradict what you are saying.

Thought it was written in the stars he would score so on this occasion I was glad he was booed, seem to throw him off and he was constant squabbling with our players who also seemed to wind him up and he just wasn’t with it. It was great that an opposition forward seem to lose it abit regardless if he was an ex player, it worked so fuck him.

But soon as the final whistle went I have no animosity towards him, I’ve been a big fan of his since he signed for the academy and I have no doubt he will have a very good career and I really hope he does.

I don't think anyone has ever seen Jebbison fired up, so it's difficult to tell. Only noticed him twice, once when he ran offside despite being able to look along the line, and then his stupid booking.

I won’t be booing McBurnie Clarke or any other player on to the pitch, while on the pitch, or leaving the pitch.

I never have done. I never would do. Hope I’ve explained my reasons as to why. Got a bit more about me than to lower myself. Make of that what you wish.

This. I don't get people saying "he did fuck all in his United career", because neither have most of our academy players.

The way he left after seeming to agree to sign up is what got him booed. All a bit of fun.
