The scene in the Damned United where Brian Clough told the Weeds players to put their medals in the bin because they had cheated was true but Clough was talking about them kicking crap out of the opposition. Even Clough didn't know at the time what Revie was doing.

Never tire of attaching this article. Gary Sprake bravely put his head above the parapet and was ostracised by the rest of the Leeds so called golden greats for 30 years till he passed away. Revie did a runner to the UAE when he knew the Daily Mirror were going to go to print. Typically the FA swept it under the carpet because they had appointed Revie as England manager. They really were Leeds scum and entered into the cheats Hall of Fame along with SISU and the S6 Massiv.

I think anyone could come across as best ever owner if on day one of solo ownership they have 170 million of TV money to waste.

And we still somehow ended up with embargos, points deductions and having to turn under soil heating off!

Is it just me, or are their others who remember that the Prince and Mcabe were joint owners of the club when we got our first promotion, and so both were in involved in the first prem transfer window.

Now that you mention it I do recall people saying Mcburnie was a "Prince" signing and McCabe wouldn't allow it based on nothing but gossip!

Yeah. We've gone from League one to bouncing in and out of the prem. Just done a full rebuild, hoping to push again.
Bring back the days of festering in L1, or relegated to fourth division.
