If the new owners if You look at el accountos twitter it's obvious it's nearly done if they sell blaster when doesn't look good

Buying a football club costs money, most investors buy hoping to succeed and the majority dont, as we all know, but I don't think they'd buy thinking we'll just keep plodding on, you back a horse to win, not to see it run ok. Just my opinion
How is that an investment through?
Succeed as a fan and succeed as an investment are two very different things.

He will be worth more next season and will possibly be sold if we do not go up. If we do he will stat for another season.
All of which is dependent upon the new owners running a similar transfer ideology to that of the Prince

He hardly said he was going nowhere though did he.
Because the fact is he like all of them has a price, and he may not have any say in it ultimately if the club decide to sell him.

He’s a £20m player for sure now.
Continue as he is the rest of this season and have success, stay fit and play most games he will be worth another £10m plus.

I’d assume he has some rather juicy bonuses built into his contract now so financially will be pretty happy. The test will be if his agent drops by one day and says “West Ham are offering you £150k a week and a £4m signing in fee if you fancy it?”
Then we might be in trouble because no matter who you are and what club you support that sort of money sets you and your family for life and f you be sensible.

I think he's in a perfect situation right now for his development. Playing against Championship level competition in a team that's one of the better teams in the division. Having a player like Vini Souza next to him who does a lot of the dirty work for him. He really has the opportunity to shine and take the next step this year. And so far he looks like he's ready to take it.

I don't think he's ready for Premier League football just yet. He'll get lost in the shuffle. If I'm his agent or whoever is advising him I'll tell him to marinate in the Championship at least one season and then see what his options are.

I agree. Perfect situation for him, plus it’s his boyhood club and he’s doing it for his grandad. Love to see it, such a class act at a young age.

The only Blades player in my lifetime that I’ve been confident would play for England was JOC, and he would’ve done 😢, but I think Oli has the potential to make it to the England team one day. Brooks has the potential too.

Let’s be honest with ourselves though, as much as we want him to stay and play 600 times as captain and whatnot, if that happens, he probably hasn’t reached has potential. I’ll enjoy him while I can. High hopes for this kid.

Absolutely. It always helps when they're playing for their boyhood club and there's an emotional connection. I guess it's inevitable that he (and maybe Brooks, as well) will outgrow the club at some point. But who knows, promotion this year could at least delay it for a few years.

Besides, who doesn’t love seeing a Sheffield lad proudly wear the badge and even captain us?

Yeah agree on JOC. I’m pretty sure he would have been one of the next couple of England squads when he got injured.

Blaster does seem to be your archetypal modern midfielder. I’m not sure about England predications just yet because there is a conveyor belt of this type of player coming out of City, Chelsea and other academies these days. But I wouldn’t put it past him - fine margins at that level and a top mentality can give you the edge over someone with an extra 5% of skill, which bodes well for him.

Genuine question - does anyone know for certain which is his natural foot? I always thought he was right footed with a decent left but after watching him this year he seems to favour his left?

Yeah 3 yrs even though you keep tittle tattlng trying to get me banned
I don't know why anyone would try and get you banned again. We have our very own village idiot, doing a great job of making everyone feel better about themselves.
