I expect Palace are looking for the optimum move to develop their talent. An extra few hundred grand on a loan fee pales into insignificance against having a Premier League ready footballer in a few months time.

Does seem like his agent is believing the hype and hoping to create an auction…it’s obvious these continuous news updates are to advertise he’s available and open to offers but it does seem we’re leading the race.

The problem is we have no option to stay patient and have a plan B in place just in case this fails

However you can bet if and when he signs he’ll say there were interest from several clubs but he always wanted to come here and he expected the deal to be agreed before the season started but apparently there were complications that he doesn’t know about but he’s so excited to be here with some great players .
