Leeds are looking a little desperate at the minute after a season that heavily depended on Summerville, Gray and Gnoto. I don’t think they’ll be the run away champions elect that many pundits are spaffing. The interesting thing is as much as we slag off our recruiting, Leeds plan seems to be last minute swooping in. But having been sat in front of a Dirties’ fan (talking to a pig ?!?!?) @ Scarbados on Thursday I overheard him insisting that they’d stolen our “ star man” (along with the ‘fact’ that Summerville is an “overpaid one trick pony”)
They decided that SUFC are relegation fodder having ‘ lost the best 2 full backs in the league
Needless to say I soon sat elsewhere - the Pavilion - different type of shite spouted but the ‘quality’ improved (marginally)
By 15:00 I was praying it would piss it down for the rest of the summer

Yeh that’s how I see it.
Palace think be could be the next big thing and don’t want to sell unless it’s ridiculous money.

Also I agree that our system suits him.if he watched our match away at PNE he would have seen how quick our counter attacks were and how Brooks saw plenty of the ball in plenty of space.

Lowe is just OK, average Championship standard. Bogle has more talent, is well above average CC standard as an attacking fullback and can produce moments of PL quality when he comes up with goals but he’s possibly league 1 standard at defending and can be a liability.

However more importantly, they both have questionable temperaments, both too laid back and when the going gets tough their heads drop.

I think temperament, team spirit, batting qualities are qualities that are often hidden but are really important for a team to achieve success.

Lets face it losing Bogle was a blow but our manager has replaced him with a much better player in Gilcrest as for Lowe well he had chance after chance to make left back his very own spot but failed and we had to bring loans in for that position but they were crap to and still he did not grasp his chance to cement that spot so that says everything we need to know about him don't you think.

Spot on, and I suspect this is one of the reasons that many Blades preferred Baldock over Bogle. George has less skill, but is true warrior when the chips are down and never gives up.

Much in the same way that I would pick Ozzy over Lowe LB, any day of the week. Ben had his limitations but was a grafter, whereas Max used to down tools and often looked like he wasn't even following patterns of play.

Leeds could've been out of sight by HT yesterday, but somehow went in behind.

Their attacking was frightening. If they sort their defence, they'll smash the league.
