On the no. 9 Beattie had a narrow win from Evans (WTF??) with respectable votes for Shipperley and Hulse, leaving the dream squad thus:
1. Paddy Kenny
2. Matt Lowton
3. Wayne Quinn
4. Nick Montgomery
5. Chris Morgan
6. Phil Jagielka
7. Michael Brown
8. Stuart McCall
9. James Beattie
On the no.8 run off for the nightmare squad, Stokes "won" by an unsurprising landslide, leaving that squad thus:
1. Steve Simonsen
2. Daryl Westlake
3. Gary Flitcroft
4. Danny Higginbotham
5. Rob Kozluk
6. Nyron Nosworthy
7. Nathaniel Mendez-Laing
8. Anthny Stokes
We need another run off for the no.9. Lupoli, Thomas and Ward all got no votes. Porter got one, but I have disallowed it as a self confesssed "joke" from Racy, so he goes in the mix (and whilst I am on the subject, what is the point of such "jokes"? A few people have voted for obvious joke candidates, so I think its been done to death and is not funny anymore if you are over 12)
Time for the no.10's. My designated nightmare candidates here are Hayles and Reid . Anyone voting for them will have their votes disallowed unless they post a reasoned justification in the thread.
As before, you only vote for the time they wore the no.9 shirt. Players wore other numbers as follows:
Peschisolido: no.16 Jan-Feb 01, no.8 01-02
Webber: no 25 March-May 05
Beattie: no.6 07-08, no.9 08-09
