May be a quality fella and friend (the most important trait to have), but he weren't much cop (pun intended) as a full back with SUFC and he did cost us a few daft goals back in the days of Edwards and Morris.

Not the best and probably lower league / non lesgue league quality as a footballer, but he tried though tbf to him. In those days we had some who were poor quality and didn't really give a shit either (Paul Richardson etc)

Agree…..it’s very unlikely they’ll recall him in January. It would only be if they have serious injury problems and Saki is playing so well they think he’ll be a success at PL level.

Also they would tell us at the beginning of the window giving us time to bring in a replacement. In fact we’ll already have replacements lined up just in case he’s recalled. It’s not ideal but won’t be a disaster.

That worries me slightly too if honest! If he does well then palace may recall him. It's probably more likely they'll only recall him if he's not playing enough

Palace under their new manager have done well so hopefully they'll not require him back in January.
