Sheffield United are willing to offer Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi higher wages than he is already on to join the club on loan this season, amid interest from Hull City, Queens Park Rangers, Leeds United and others.

We didn't want to pay so much initially, but then other clubs seemingly were and so we decided that he actually might be worth as much as Palace wanted in our quest for promotion, so we raised the stakes in order to win the competition for his services?
