Hope so,but it Palace’s decision. Depends on him also if as you say ‘he wants to better his career’. Obviously Gilchrist has made the decision and Deano will have a good word in his ear.Quite easily mate- you show him that his career will progress far more in a competitive Championship side with a history of raising the reputations of young loanees in front of 28000 rather than at a perennial struggler who basically play in a shed. You also remind him that this is the modern world where we have cars and trains and forms of communication that he can utilise when needed.
