If we were going for Hoever who is a more attacking RB then I'd assume Gilchrist would be brought in to mainly compete with Anel at CB. Doesn't hurt that he can cover at RB though and seems like a good quality addition.

I'm still expecting Souza and Anel to go but maybe we'll hang on to them if we can't get enough business done to replace them.

Regardless of people looking to slag CW off for going back to his old set up, lots of teams switch between 3 and 4 at the back throughout the game.

If we’re (hopefully) leading Preston don’t be surprised if we bring Trusty on for the last 15 to go to a back three and give us more presence in the box. Though my faith in trusty after last season is minimal to say the least.

Think Trusty will be more than fine in the Championship. The Prem is a step too far for most players these days. The pace as well as team and individual skill of some attackers in the Prem is u forgiving.

Trusty and Anel will be fine this season.

I think people's concerns are more about him at CB in a four. Which I share a little tbh.

I love Robbo but he was a full back moved into LCB. I have similar concerns about Anel tbh too in a four.
