Proper fucking shit show. Call me a bedwetter or whatever you want. We are being ran by a set of fucking clowns
Surely this is a two season plan. The eagerness to get players in is only relevant if they are the ones we want for 2025/26.
Begin to judge the achievements of the “clowns” in August 2025.

Would we have just let Curtis go out after having lost Bogle and Baldock if the club weren’t confident we were getting him or someone in by next week…

Yeah, of course we fucking would what am I even saying

Whether he has failed his medical (seems odd if he played 40+ games?) or a different kind of snag, I really don't understand why Darren Smith would tell everyone this? It means clubs know we need a new right back and surely just drives the price/wage/agent fees up for the next target? I really wish he would just keep his counsel if he does know stuff. Why if true, is the Prince continuing to feed him information? It's totally bewildering way of a chairman conducting himself to me.

That's nothing against Darren Smith but there is no other club in the world that releases information via a retired accountant/fan in Spain. If the owner is happy with a fan releasing stuff that essentially affects the day to day running/business of the club it shows why he has been totally incapable of finding a viable and credible investor.

With regards the transfer, it concerns me it has taken essentially 7 months (knew we were down in January) to sign 5 players when we have released nearly 20. With our approach to signing it probably will take weeks to even get close to the next man up.

It's a laughing stock the pace we move in the transfer market. It's meant to be the biggest summer in years with meticulous planning and scouting to allow a huge rebuild. We are operating like we are essentially reaction g day to day. It proves the whole infrastructure of the club is not fit for purpose really for one at the level it purports to be.

I agree he should stop doing this and the fans need to be more patient

Curtis officially gone - I still maintain we don't move him on if we don't have someone confirmed as coming in!

I’d like to think that the Prince is clever enough to only give the accountant the information he wants out in the public domain.

Maybe I’m just naïve, but it would make sense to feed an ITK information to suit the club’s strategy. That could be genuine true information or complete bullshit rumours.

It's possible that he's come down with Covid and couldn't finish or start his medical. Shit happens.

Agreed, we obviously aren’t the best run club in the country, but we surely ain’t that incompetent!

On the bright side, if it's true he's failed a medical then I'd rather the club find out now about these issues, before they sign for us. Now it's about how quickly we can switch targets.... as United react like a Sloth.

Many loans are agreed in August not in June or July
Season starts in a week. We essentially tossed away month last season by this strategy. You should have most if your squad ready to go by opening day with a few to come in late August if good players become available.

We should not be patching up and plugging in players for the first few games (again) when we've sold 20 million of players and moved on several big earners. What are the recruitment team to not bring people in or as I expect is the owner simply not sanctioning many incoming?

Our strategy and slow work in the transfer window could throw another season down the drain. We've lost 19 players and brought 5 in. It's baffling. Surprised there are a few defending the club. Still. Seems most see it what it is, another total shit show.

Right.

If any of what I’m about to type is even close to the mark :-

1. Bogle sold
2. Shacks fucked for months.
3. Curtis loaned.
4. Wolves lad with unpronounceable name failed med leaving us with NO obvious RB or RWB.

This club has very quickly become an embarrassment. Them fuckers across the City do it better.

Shocking.

What would you like the club to do if a player fails a medical?
