CONFIRMED Jamie Shackleton

Thought he looked good against Harrogate in many ways, but he is tiny.
Osborn was similarly injury prone.
I do wonder if the much smaller mass/size means that the tiny players like Shackleton and Osborn are much more likely to get injured in 'typical' football related collisions, particularly if they are going up against units like Onana/Sousa who have a substantial size, weight, momentum difference etc

He was in tears after the physios had some the basic assessment and he obviously already knew himself it wasn't good.

What's another player to have to try and find when we had a fair amount to go anyway!
Brewster and RND will enjoy the company

O'Hare is similar. Small but quick but rarely gets protection from the refs. He gets injuries because of this. When you play teams like Preston he will finish the game black and blue.

But speaks with a Jamaican accent with a little Ghana thrown in. Innit.
Just wait until you see his man bag over his shoulder if his accent is that bad for you 🤣🤣🤣

He still lives with his parents. Take him to your heart and he will reward you. Take the piss out of his 'unusual accent' and he will see it online. Take his confidence away and he becomes an average football player.

Let’s hope that he is banned from this forum then, together with the rest of the squad.
I hope he listens to the voices of the fans in the ground, and doesn’t bother to tune in to the Muppet show on here.

You have certainly signed a good player. But he seems to be a confidence player. He finally found his shooting boots when coming back from 2 injuries and the support from the crowd.

But if you have the kind of support that doesn't forgive a few below par games he will go into his shell. Other than his games coming back from his latest injury his goal scoring was poor. But however he plays you will always get 100%. Sad to.see him go but his replacement seems on another level.

Have you had him round for tea?.
Us Blades usually do that to bed the lads in.

O'Hare and Hamer will be quality together as long as you can keep Hamer. Hope you don't as the sell.on clause will buy us another player 😁

Bet you'd have him back though eh? 🤣

If we hadn’t signed Rudoni yes.

O'Hare was given a certain time to sign a new contract. He didn't. We then signed his replacement. If he did sign we wouldn't have had to spend 4.5m on his replacement and could have used the money on another player in a different position. But it is done now.

Rudoni is over 6'. We have been pleasantly surprised so far. His deadball deliveries have already created us lots of chances. He has been good also at retrieving the ball. He has hardly lost the ball. O'Hare has a knack of running into a dead end.

The one bonus you have is O'Hare after coming back from his injuries has bulked up a bit and had his best scoring run in his whole career. If it continues he will be a great asset for you.

Utd fans have witnessed Vini Souza for a season . O’Hare has nothing whatsoever to worry about .

Are there really a sadder set of football fans than Coventry City fans?

We sign two of their favourite players over the past few seasons and they go out of their way to tell us that 'they really aren't all that'. Pathetic tennis ball chucking at Blades players, constant bleating on our fans forum, and attention seeking for a club that no one else really gives a shit about.

Just fuck off back to your shithole city and concentrate on your own problems. I can't believe any Blade really has any interest in your boring existence anyway and, if this Rudoni lad you speak of is any good, there's probably a good chance we'll be in to sign him too in a year or so.

Please, just fuck off.

The problem with O'Hare is he can be excellent one game then anonymous the next. The bigger the game the better the performance. For instance he played well against Man Utd in the SF of the FA cup yet was anonymous in the league games either side of it so he got dropped. But could have been down to hardly playing for a couple of years then having to play every game because most of our midfield was out injured.

Actually, that was vice versa. Spurs wanted Naughton and we threw Walker into the deal. Naughton was £6mil, Walker was £2mil.

Three, you forgot that other useless wanker John Fleck who jumped from League One to the Premier League and didn't look out of place at all until injury, age, and the mysterious faint set him back

Oh what a lovely person you must be.

Hamer was a massive loss to us but the 15m you gave us for him added to the over 20m so far received for Gyokeres has taken us from a 2 player side to a year later bringing in some very good players. Hamer had to be sold as he was going into his last year of his contract and always had the aim of playing in the Prem.

You are welcome to bid on Rudoni. But like with Hamer he won't come cheap. We paid a total of just over 2m for Gyokeres and Hamer and have received over 35m for them so far with a sell on clause with both players. When they are both sold it will bring in nearly another 10m.

And as for the tennis balls and pigs getting thrown on the pitch? Your supporters were the only ones that had a problem with our demonstrations against the hedge fund that very nearly took us to oblivion. 20 years of utter shite. Playing a season with our 'home games' in Northampton, going back to Coventry then 2 seasons playing our 'home games' in Birmingham. You think you have a bad owner now but you have had success with him. We were only saved by having Robins as manager.

Ask yourself one question. After nearly 20 years of having your club being ripped apart by the same owner would you lower yourself to protesting to get media support even if it goes against you on the pitch?

I hold no malice to your supporters but was pleasantly surprised by most opposition supporters joining in with our protests. And it worked as they are now gone.

The problem was you did it with 10 minutes to go with us pushing for a winner in a crucial game. It felt like gamesmanship not protest.

Charlton had a similar thing the same season but did it after 15 seconds of the game starting so whilst it got the coverage required it didn’t impact the sporting competition. Charlton fans got our full support.

As it happened Billy Sharp scored the winner after the restart anyway!

Exactly.

At that stage we were about to lose our football club. We didn't care about losing a game of football anymore. We had just about lost our football club. And strangely enough the only set of supporters that said anything against our protests won because of our protesting. We didn't care about losing the game because of our protests. Saving our football club from them leeches was the only important thing at the time.

How long have you been unhappy with your ower? Ours lasted 20 years. Try putting yourself in our position.

Ha! You can’t lecture us on bad owners!

We’ve literally been there and wrote the book!
