This thread could have so easily been mine...... but I thought I'd give it a few days and wait for someone else. HeySethUTB obliged! Hopefully get the prestigious honour of a 'confirmed' to your name.....
 
What’s chances of this? And would it be a straight loan or loan to buy? Kid would now be on 3 consecutive loans so clearly surplus to requirements at wolves and I’m sure they’d want a sale

Well Anel & Trusty are a bit suspect defensively too & our keeper can’t make basic saves so should be good fun. Preston 4-5 Sheffield United

Who’s the other supposed loan signing today then?

I’d like Gilchrist, if not then a loan for Worrall. However, I think Worrall would be a permanent snd would command a fee, so unless a loan to buy I don’t see that happening. Also the rumours have gone a bit cold on Worrall

Agree with the point that there's evidence to suggest Trusty is a very good Championship defender and we shouldn't write him off.

Not sure the stats prove much though - a Birmingham defender in that season was always going to make more blocks, clearances and headers than a United defender given how the season went.

Hoever will be used to having wank keepers behind him with some of the shit I've seen Stoke keepers do 😂 Bonham makes Grbic look talented

There's a very good player in Hoever - the fact my Stoke GF is pissed at us for getting him is enough for me - and may be the most like for like replacement for Bogle we could have got

Nearly every full back we get linked with gets tagged with the 'suspect defensively'. I think that if a player gets beat 1 or 2 times in a match then they're classed as a poor defender, but isn't that just football where you have a good attacking and defending player and sometimes one gets the upper hand and sometimes the other does to?

Even Cafu would get beat a couple of times.

To be fair, that's the style Wilder played initially - front foot football.

I'll always remember the game at home to Brentford, down to 10 men in the last few minutes, hanging in, Behrama was having a field day, and he brought a striker on, and we went on to win the game.

If it's cavalier style his season, good times 🤣 (no Cavalier and Roundheads gags please)

yes agree 58 think the worrall cooper signings depend if souza is sold if not gilchrist will do for me really rate the lad i think it will be hoever and souttar this week
 
Even Kyle Walker gets caught out defensively, it's a fact of the game when you play wing backs, or your full backs are expected to overlap. They have to take risks that mean they can be caught well out of position if the opposition break.
