Agree. Bassett could definitely spot a rough diamond when looking for keepers. A bit of polish and a few of them were absolutely tip notch (Kelly, Tracey and Rees especially).

Commiserations on the financial side of things it’s something we’ve experienced ourselves plenty of times with fan favourite players and academy graduates and it does seem increasingly it’s becoming a game that’s more and more about financial power as opposed to good coaching and development.

I hope you guys put the money to good use and have a successful season it’s good to see you recover from the previous financial difficulties and seemingly get the club back onto a positive trajectory.
