I understand people getting tetchy. We've been patient a fair time already.

But we don't know anything about this transfer except a few tweets and snippets. For all we know it's been signed and sealed already. Or it's something really minor, like Burrows wants to put deposit on a house rental first.

The snapping and moaning doesn't help anyone feel better (does it?) and might not be relevant. "Keep going" Blades, we'll get through this (again).

But it is not just Burrows signing is it . We are 2 weeks off the season and we are at least half a doz players short .I for one wants to see us getting enough players in to form some kind of a squad . 14 players have left and we have just got 4 in through the door ,no i for one will not be any happier until we have a squad that can form so type of team . If we have any run on injuries like we have done in the past god knows how we will cope. Can see Wilder getting a bloody game. Goal keeper ,right back, striker, center backs all needed and we are no nearer getting them in mainly down to the princess policy of letting players run down their contracts and leaving us short . I understand some players want to move and it suits some to run down their contracts but the sheer number of players wanting to piss off is alarming ,why so many? The only ones left are the ones that need moving on ,rejecting a decent offer for Souza is bafferling if we believe we are so skint .

Of course not they are good prospects but given time it would not surprise me in the slightest to see them go .May be after they have run down their contracts and we let them go for a bargain fee or even on a freebie.

If it’s a choice between selling them and PA lending more cash to SUFC, I suspect one of them leaves, yup. Seems clear he’s done with increasing his financial exposure.

But if Souza or Anel attract bids, I’m hopeful he says no to the others leaving. Both for the sake of the team, and also the potential takeover.

But ultimately, I know f-all, clearly.
