The Talksport presented clearly thinks we're signing him and wanted to catch the Peterborough Chairman out, by referencing our good business in the market so far. I think MacAnthony was just being "clever" in his response and tried to deflect.

The Peterborough manager tries everything to drive up the price. He was the same chatting about how Ian Toney is the best striker in the PL and one of the big 6 should buy him.

He said if Spurs buy him then they have a chance to win the title. He later admitted that Peterborough have a genourous sell in clause so he’s obviously bias trying to drive up the prices and bids for his players.
