Darragh's statement does drop a massive suggestion that Leeds have come in for him too.
The co-hosts look at each other and smirk, to suggest they've just fished an exclusive out of him.

If they've genuinely snatched him from under our noses at this stage, after we've been fucking about for several weeks I think I'll actually be fuming.
30 goal involvements in all competitions this lad had from wing back last season. THIRTY.
I've not got the time to dive into it but I imagine that's more than all our wingbacks combined have racked up in the past 5 years.

We're crying out for someone with his quality getting balls into the box.
Well if correct we have asked for it . I do not know another club who dilly dallies so much when trying to recruit new talent .This has been ongoing for bloody weeks . Good luck to the lad if he goes to Leeds

My source is a journo I know in Leeds he's saying Leeds have matched our bid BUT it's up to Harrison to decide!

SO we need to hope

a) this is wrong intel
b) if true, Harrison makes the right choice.
Same old Sheffield United messing about they should have got it done weeks ago if we miss out it is because of the incompetence of the powers that be.

I'd be inclined to keep the faith amongst all this Leeds panic. If what is being banded about is correct, and it's down to the player, why are folk so certain he wouldn't pick us?

Wilder has already gotten Kieffer and O'Hare in this summer, players who absolutely had other options, but said that they spoke to CW and were convinced this was the best place to come. All the signings so far have spoken of being excited by the rebuilding project that we're undertaking, and everyone we're looking at signing is going to be competing for play time, if not be guaranteed it.

I'm not saying that Leeds wouldn't be appealing to some, because we already know this summer that some players would prefer to go there than here (Bogle). What I am saying, is don't count your chickens until they hatch. I know it's the Blades style to expect the worst, but what if for once, things went our way instead?

Could be linked to Junior Firpo being linked with Real Betis, it's being played down by the looks of it, but if Firpo leaves they'll be looking at a replacement. I wouldn't expect them to be able to move fast, as there will be negotiations to be had, but it could all hang on that.

If he doesn’t sign for us now, this will be right up there with the Ndiaye scenario in terms of fucking around and not getting things tied up when there was plenty of opportunities.

Are we so hand to fucking mouth that we literally need Benie’s cheque to clear before we can get a League One player over the line.

Everyone saying it’s the club’s fault - we were expecting to be skint this season so without the outgoings we’ve made, and with the takeover still in the balance, how were we supposed to finalise his signing before now?

Annoying if he goes to Leeds but I hardly think that the club have dragging their heels for the sake of it.

It would be the most Sheffield United of scenarios that we not only lose our first choice right back to Leeds but the player who would play on the opposite wing apparently lined up for months goes to them too. As if couldn’t hate Farke enough already.

It is the powers that be here that are the problem I have never known a club as slow as us for getting deals done.

Looks like red bull are giving leeds wings and blowing slow skint tom out of the water.

These new owners are going to be shit aren't they?

I can't see a world in which people who don't own us yet can be held responsible for a transfer before they are allowed to make decisions or provide funding

It's been the same for several seasons. Can only assume we are trying to be clever with low ball offers as part of a "negotiation tactic".

If this doesn't go through it will be a travesty and more rubbish dished out by the ownership over the past 18 months

Just listened to that clip and fuck me, how anyone concludes Burrows has gone to Leeds from that needs their marbles feeling. D Mac knew that the presenters were trying to catch him out by saying, "Sheffield United have done some great business" which is why they snigger when he replies "so have Leeds and others"....they knew they couldn't catch him out.

He did say that the player has a decision to make but that's no different to O'Hare who had countless offers on the table.

The rest is just fucking Journos and You-Tubers putting 2 and 2 together.

Stop being a bunch of fannies.

It is so frustrating because we have the base to be one of the best teams in the league and make an Instant return to the Premier league.

The league isn't anywhere near as strong as in previous years too we have a. Great chance of promotion if we invest in the right players there is no reason why we can't challenge for top 2.

With a new striker a couple of midfielders and CB's and a New number 1 we could be a real force to be reckoned with.

Well if there is any truth in it and he decides to pick us over them even though we are a club in a bloody mess and just limping along Wilder should get a bloody medal
