From that list you gave, Sharp did well with 14 goals but Didzy didn't do so much in the season after we came down, we released Didzy at the end of the season as he was picking up injuries. MGW carried us for large parts of that season, Mcburnie and Brewster were injured for large parts, Ndiaye came in and did well. Stevens was past it and so was Fleck.

Norwood was ok but nowt special, our midfield now is much better with Hamer, Arblaster and Shackleton, with Brooks in the mix too. Up top, Moore is a top championship striker and I can't wait to see him play. Davies will be fine until we get someone better in goal but he didn't let himself down last time he filled in. There's Burrows coming at left back who I suspect will be better than Lowe or Stevens we're in those seasons. The right back position needs filling but I'm not concerned about it. Id take our squad even now over every one bar Leeds and Burnley.

By the end of the window there's a strong chance Leeds will have sold more players and we will have brought in some top quality loan players along with some others in for the squad. I'm pretty confident to be honest!!

MGW didn’t sign until 31st August. I’m sure we’ll have some new players before then.

Looking at your lineup does focus the weakness as GK and CB

I'm based my initial comment on what we have now. I'm sure we will be looking stronger by the end of the window. I still think right now it's the weakest we have gone into a season since we were promoted from L1 but I'm certainly not writing the season off or anything.

Even as it is now though Roy there's quality that is as hi d if not better than any of the other seasons were were in the Championship with Moore, O'Hare, Hamer and Arblaster here. Granted Hamer may go.
 

looking at those clips of burrows swinging those left footed crosses in for posh kiefer moore will be rubbing his hands at getting on the end of em could be a great signing this one

We definitely need more at CB.

Anel was solid in a 3 in the Championship last time, but looked suspect in the Prem in both a 3 and a 2.

JLT has earned respect, but still has an error in him.

Trusty did nothing last season to warrant any confidence now. Including being out on toast by Luton's wrong-footed RWB on Boxing Day.

RND is one I like, but injuries mean he isn't truly dependable, and could be needed at LB anyway.

Freckleton is unproven at this level.

And the biggest issue is that none if them look like a true leader. Like a captain. JLT is probably the best of the bunch just through being willing to get stuck in, but we're lacking someone who will bark out instructions on the pitch, keep everyone organised at the back.

Beyond that, we also still need bodies at GK, RB, and we need wide players. Lacking far too much in those areas to be able to compete at the minute.
 
Yeah, we need better ball players than JLT and Trusty is shocking.
In my opinion we need a whole new starting back line with Bogle walking.
Keeper, Burrows, RB, LCB, Worrall hopefully.

Slightly concerning that the majority of the defence isn’t in place yet, we have so much to get ready before the games start.
