In an ideal world I'd keep vini , he's likely to be as good as anything in the championship.
However understand if he gets a PL contract offer he'll want to go and if the moneys right then it's a good deal all round.
Selling players is fine as long as you replace and recruit well , just hope we're getting better at that.

I've said similar before, don't forget he was near the top of the motm charts on here for most of the season (which doesn't take much last season) however I just don't think he 'fits' with us as a team.

I do think he will do well at Fulham with better players around him and his job simplified to what he's good at, breaking up play and passing to players who actually want the ball and offer for it rather than panicking and/or running away from it.

His stats compare very well with palhinha so it does make sense as teams do put a lot of emphasis on stats nowadays. Rightly or wrongly.

He is not a poor player, he might not have the best attitude but it must have been really frustrating playing for us last season. Isn’t that part of the managers job to encourage him and build him up.

Doesn't mean to say that there is no genuine interest in him.

You will tend to find that generally, the lodging of the bid is the final piece in the jigsaw that needs to be resolved as often the agent, player and clubs involved have had contact before the formal bid is lodged (I'm quite pally with a current Championship club assistant manager by the way).

So, there may have been a lot of things negotiated and agreed upon before we get to the bids in stage. So CW may well be telling the truth. The player may also (I have no idea on this one), be as good as sold for all we know.
