Wait, we're actually paying a transfer fee for him and he's not on a free? Fuck's sake

Sounds about right ......3 seasons in the Prem plus 4 parachute payments in the last 6 years and its loans plus out of contracts ....Get this fkin disaster of an owner out asap.
But nobody would turn their nose up to signing McCallum, Shackleton and potentially O'Hare on frees. Their previous contract ending isn't indicative of the calibre of player they are. Smart business.

Also, seems like the Moore deal is a permanent at around 1.5/2 mill by all accounts. If we are still in for Burrows, that may be a fair few million.

Just wait and see by the time the window has closed to judge.

Peter O'Rouke I think he's called has said it's a permanent deal though. He's out of contract at the end of next season anyway.

Seems to be conflicting reports as to if this is a loan or an outright putchase on a three year deal.

Be interesting to see what pans out as to me the interest in aged 30+ players like Moore and Mclean doesnt really seem to agree with our approach to Egan/Norwood

And the experincr of having fleck / stevens just drop off a cliff performance wise

We need a good blend.
We've lost a lot of leaders from the dressing room.

What is it Wilder always says?
Short, medium & long term planning.
We need signings with at least the first two in mind. The likes of Moore, McClean, Grimes etc. satisfy the short term.

This would be a very good signing for us, perhaps suggests why we’re also looking at wingers with some of the other signings.

There aren’t many organisations in the world of business in any field that would see a large drop in revenue like we are and spend loads of money on new assets.

A drop in revenue normally signifies a reduction in costs.

I don’t get why people get hung up about the money we’ve had in the past few seasons, the accounts have shown that costs have pretty much swallowed this up and the embargo shows that after the last PL jaunt we were strapped for cash after spending big (for us) in the transfer market.

It would be counter intuitive to get relegated and spend large sums on transfers. The main thing is protecting the assets we have in Hamer and Arblaster.

Has O'Rourke said owt abaht tekova
Said "It's a fucking joke that the club haven't thought about the fans, the total lack of news is cuntish on a global scale".
Not sure what he means by that.........?

If he's been seen in the Cricketers, then it's nailed on.

Need a target man, so he's perfect. Good signing, hope it's true.

Doubt he has said that as he is more grown up than you, but then again most people are
