Osula& jebbo have to learn there trade, Marsh is on a different level got the footie intelligence and technical ability as his performances show, just lacks a bit of physicality and experience which will come .
Has to be with the first team next season obviously not always a starter.

Marsh would benefit more from a loan, even if it is just until January. He had a loan spell cut short through injury last season. There is a huge gap between academy level and the Championship, and he's not Championship ready yet. Remember that Arblaster went out to League One before he came into the first team. If you rush the youngsters you could do more damage than good. Marsh should be in and around the first team at some point, but not likely this season unless he has a stormer of a pre-season.

That’s why I said “at the same age”

When they were at the same age Osula and Jebbo were miles ahead of Marsh. That is not putting Marsh down because he is a top prospect it is more that those writing off Osula and Jebbo are wrong to. Way to early to write them off.

I really hope you’re right but my fear is it might be more he other way - that the cash situation is worse than we feared. If we were getting a cash injection then letting go of Osborn makes sense. But selling Osula doesn’t.

If we really don’t have any any funds then selling osula for 1-2m and a good sell on to fund a senior first-team purchase probably makes sense. You can never tell at this age, he might become a world beater, but Jebbison imo has a better chance of making it.

yeah might also be down to this injury as well just clutching at straws really with this rumoured takeover im just hoping we sign 2 new strikers
 
I want to believe about Osula, but his ability to hold/shield the ball wasn't much better than little Benie Traore's.

First thing that needs fixing is he's going to have any chance in upper echelons of pro football.

I will be surprised if he is not in the first team squad
 
Looked good today. Confident. Something I noticed is he has a good touch but it doesn't look like he has a good touch?! Even his goal, watching it it looks a bit wild nut when you rematch it he does know exactly what he's doing. Might just be me
 

I said to my son at the end of last season that I fancy Osula to bag a few in the Championship. There’s a lot to like about him.
 
Always thought Osula had loads of potential and will come good with time. Still do. I think he's a lot better prospect than Jebbison anyway. Sometimes you just need to let the young uns grow organically with their footballing ability and they will bloom. Osula will be a gud un for us.
 
If you watch him in warm ups and unders matches everything about him is brilliant. Friendlies and cup matches he's getting there. Just needs the composure to develop in competitive league matches. Big breakthrough season on the cards if he can work on the composure part.
 
My concern is that the club don't seem to have developed him over the last 12 months. Or they've tried and it hasn't work. He should have scored a hat-trick against Chezzy last pre-season (and didn't); should have scored a hat-trick today. I can't see any sign of improvement in him whether that be in physique or technique. He doesn't seem any further forward in his development that he was 12 months ago

He's 21 in a few weeks so he's absolutely going to have to shake off the rawness that he undoubtedly has but I would much rather have a guy who frustrates because we can see SOMETHING there than some kids who I just see nothing in whatsoever

I agree. Players like Watkins and Toney were the same at that age. I just don't see him being a key player for us anytime soon. He needs to go out on loan.
 
Just glad we have him on a 4 year contract until 2027. He’s only 20(21 in August) - I think he’ll be pretty useful in Championship.
 
he can only benefit from having kiefer moore in the squad an old head with bags of experience although they will probably be competing for the same spot

Towards the end of the season he got a hat-trick in about 20 minutes for the U21s. The opposition manager said he was unplayable.
He then scored 2 in 20 minutes for Denmark U21s in the summer.
Today he scored once in 45 minutes and you think this proves he’s not improved?

Do you think we use him this season or he goes on loan? I’d love to see him in and around our first team but I’m worried he won’t get enough minutes.
 
I think we're going to be an extremely creative team next season so it would be a waste not to give him a chance in that team. If it's going to click for him it'll click in a team like that, and when it clicks it could really click. He's very close to being very good. Just has to get over the last hurdle

But if we have McBurnie and Moore, it would be difficult to justify keeping him around so a loan till January might suit. I think he'd smash L1 now. PL exposure will have developed him, whether we see that yet or not

Would you expect McBurnie to play for 95 minutes every Saturday and Tuesday?
