This is so frustrating . After 3 years in the prem and 2 years parachute money you would think a club the size of the Blades would have no problem signing a player like Burrows .Also reports suggest that BDD s club want around 5 million for him which should be well with in our means but we are told we are not in a position to financially proceed .I understand we are under an offer for the club but seeing lesser clubs doing business without difficulty really is maddening . Under offer or not the club has to keep functioning and learn lessens from last year when we were ill prepared for the new season .

From 3 years prem payouts and 2 years parachute money . We have spent f all for the last 3 years compared with others we went 3 windows without any signings at all . Add to that really good gates and selling our best players makes you wonder where it's all gone . We are being left behind by clubs that have not had the luxury of prem money and parachute payments .10 mill is not a fortune in this day and age in fact it is chicken feed .

If he's remaining as a 20% share holder, he would need the other 80% to be put in. Which they won't do as they don't own 80% yet.

My personal opinion is that I don’t think it will happen, we have verbally agreed to pay the money but we don’t have the money. If we paid £5m for a league one left back it would be negligent. The takeover is going well. Ryan Giles will be cheaper and he’s proven at our level.
