Surely, SURELY with Wilder saying he wants to build a team around him we aren't accepting less than £30mil

Also - don't know the Twitter account but no sources fills me with confidence that it's bullshit

Yes Wilder trying to keep him - but you know the Prince £22 million, he'll be gone!

Did someone say that he had a release clause in his contract?

22m would be a great deal tbh but it would still be difficult to accept given how utterly crucial he is to our chances next season

Hamer stays = top 6 challenge minimum

No Hamer = fk knows

I do wonder if the rumour of interest in Marc Leonard is as a replacement for Hamer. I would expect that if Hamer does go then Wilder will replace Hamer with a loan signing and Leonard as one to develop.

Fucking hated the season and now already fucking hate the close season !!
We need to keep Hamer if we want a realistic chance of a promotion push unless as has been stated we get £30m ish
As ever UTB !

The end is nigh...

Way things are going at Leicester, they're likely to be selling players before bringing any in.
Think you're right a foxes fan I know says they're in the same boat as florist need to tighten up finances !!!
Oh and this site has a worse record than the stir for click bait

If his release clause is 15 million what are Leicester doing offering 22 million.?

Its higher than £15m. But I would imagine that £22m is about right for his release clause.

Id rather keep him at that price but if he was to go for that fee, it wouldn't be a total disaster. It would and should give CW some wiggle room re manoeuvrability in the transfer market. He's a decent player, especially so at Championship level and was getting more consistent but let's not forget he did have areas that needed to get better at i.e. his tracking back. Keep him if at all possible as he could be key to us getting up there next season, but if we have to sell then we should be looking for at least £25m (unless there is a definite figure in a release clause in his contract and the lad himself fancies the move).

Yep - Leicester are almost certainly going to have to shift players to bring any in & will end up with a pts deduction also.

They may want to offer us players in exchange…..you watch…..Hamer in exchange for that keeper ….Danny Ward!!!!!

Like getting rid of Prime Ministers or sacking managers.

It’s only a good decision if the replacement is better.

So, starter for 10, who are the arrogance replacements? And are they likely to get near on double figures in both assists and goals?

Generally speaking I agree with that sentiment (unless the club needs the cash injection for business reasons which shouldn't be the case here). However, the other aspect is that if you sell a player for decent money it provides money to invest across the squad rather than just that position.

Id prefer for us to keep him truth be told (and sell Souza and Anel who should both be sold irrespective of any Hamer sale or not) but if CW needs the coin to strengthen across the team and the offer is too good then it's a decent sale even if a direct replacement might not have the same amount of flair in their game.

It really depends on who is attainable if we do decide to cash in on him, but one thing's for certain, if we were to do that and use the money for a rebuild, I would hope that deals are to all intents 'done' before we agree any sale of any of the few players we have in contract and who we wish to retain. Let's not allow other clubs to know we have money from sales.

i think hamer will be sold along with anel and souza but i would be dissapointed if we sold arblaster anything like 22m and hamer will go and think their could be something in the rumours with browne and leonard coming in
