Whoever or wherever we're playing in pre-season, one thing's for sure... we're gonna need some ringers!

Bochum is roughly in-between Dortmund & Dusselforf - Both airports I would guess are less than an hours drive to Bochum.

Public transport is a doddle around there. Don’t need a car, the train system is fantastic.

Indeed, I only mentioned driving to give an idea of how close the airports are...

Heard that that is incorrect and that the plans have changed.

Bochum is roughly in-between Dortmund & Dusselforf - Both airports I would guess are less than an hours drive to Bochum.

To be honest I was just preparing a "Gone to Bochum" one liner.

Sounds great. Been to Berlin twice and loved it. Would absolutely love to do a trip like this. Unfortunately due to a variety of circumstances, mostly my own personal failings, I absolutely cannot afford it.

Think we need to go back to the Warnock days pre season at Bodmin Moor. Nice be shite all season nice jolly up in Europe can't be bad. We are unfit can't last longer than 70 mins a game But nice warm weather training top facilities. That's a new player with our expected budget. Yes still pissed off at them.

As a Norton lad (originally) I was always curious why we were twinned with Bochum but now I can finally realise the potential.

This friendly completely suoercedes previous Norton Lane rush hour traffic. And we'll probably lose 1 nil
