Irish internationals that are out of contract? They're the first I'd mention if I was pretending to be ITK.Watch this space.

Hi.Watch this space.
But you said not to expect anything going into next season? We're sailing that close to the wind.

This is therefore a bit contradictory, is it not?
Hope we sign him, just so we can sing that Alan Brown song off of one of those Ronnie Sharpe SRA CDs.
Preston have made on offer that would make him the highest paid player in their history. That salary level is likely about the bottom end of our scale and where we want to be paying. Now we struggle to beat PNE for wages.
Don’t think he is.If Sheaf at Coventry is out of contract he'd be my choice, and worth pushing the boat out for.
Same guy had us signing a player for £8m last week. There is no way PNE can pay bigger wages than us. That is just click bait.
The gulf is getting bigger. He'd be an adequate 3rd man in our midfield, and ensure a comfortable top 6 standard midfield, but unfortunately we just won't be able to match the terms offered by Coventry City and Preston North End
i think both worrall and obrien will be on our wish list from forest if we could sell souza for say 8m think that would be enough to get those 2The gulf is getting bigger.
I added to another thread simply stating all the players that were either out of favour at Leicester or who they were likely to offload.
They’d walk into next year’s Championship top two.
Next season I doubt we’ll need extraordinary signings. We’ll need players who are consistently above average currently and available.
Then it will probably boil down to how good your loan signings are compared to the rest.
For example:
Defence - Bogle/MrX/Egan/Robbo/RND
It’s a more than capable defence as long as Mr X is capable. It could be McNair, Kipre, Worrall, Holgate on loan.
Midfield - MrY/Arblaster/Hamer
Again, not being unrealistic, Browne, Mowatt, O’Brien on loan, Leonard. Players capable of being available and not letting you down.
Attack - MrZ/McBurnie + Brewster/Jebbison/Osula/Marsh
Probably be that Mr Z is the differentiator. I think this would have to be a loan as even Gallagher has had his deal extended. You’d be thinking someone like Liam Delap, Jay Stansfield, David Brooks or whoever is next off the City production line.
One or two of those as a number 10 and/or striker, one of the many decent loan keepers like Rushworth, Sinisalo, Cummings etc.
We could achieve the above with minimal fee spend, possibly need a couple more for flexibility but you’d have a competitive XI without going mad.
Just depends how decisive we can be. We won’t end up with many of those if we only do our shopping in August, that’s for sure.
We can indeed put together a very decent side very quickly if we want to. As you say, it won't take a huge spend, it won't even take much imagination - there are a number of obvious targets who you name there. But it will take decisiveness, and moving early - for onceThe gulf is getting bigger.

I agree, but I don’t expect much to happen before July unless we make an early sale because we are still paying the wages of those departing until the end of June.We can indeed put together a very decent side very quickly if we want to. It’s really poor though isn’t it if we have to spend the summer being so ‘hand to mouth’.I agree, but I don’t expect much to happen before July unless we make an early sale because we are still paying the wages of those departing until the end of June.
After we've spent three of the past five seasons in the Premier League. An absolute f*cking disgrace. Now we struggle to beat PNE for wages.
Us, Luton, Boro and Sunderland in a battle for Browne.
No it’s not they’ve offered him a great deal Coventry us and Sunderland backed off leaving Boro and Luton battling it out at moThere is no way PNE can pay bigger wages than us. That is just click bait.
Boro the only team willing to match what he’s asked for so far. Wants to come here though. No it’s not they’ve offered him a great deal Coventry us and Sunderland backed off leaving Boro and Luton battling it out at mo
Luton no doubt have a Barkley shaped hole to fill soon.Us, Luton, Boro and Sunderland in a battle for Browne.
