That’s amortisation. Nothing to do with wages. To know the actual cost to us you need to know the transfer fee, the sell back figure and any cash payments made to Villa during the year.

The accounts would show an amortisation charge AND a profit or loss on player sales figure. As he’s our player, his salary will be included in the overall wages figure.
