been thinking , if you say your 10 before realising what supporting a team really means, then anyone under 23 at hillsborough has never seen a top flight game , a whole generation of pigs are growing up unaware what the prem is like , poor sods
 
This is truly the worst ever string on this forum. Complete nonsense. Our support is full of some of the thickest people on this planet, full of mindless chav idiots that can ruin everyone's day out. On top of that you have the Clappers who have basically stood back and allowed our club to be destroyed by McCabe.

And our 23 year olds have seen 19 Premier League games. Wow - what an achievement.

The sooner people stop thinking like you the better our beloved football club will be

I wish I could spend all my days being miserable , thinking of new ways of moaning seeing the worst in every decision the club makes and starting every argument in the negative, but lifes too short .
Is there any way when the club announces anything at all certain people dont have to be 100% against it before it gets the chance to breathe, the starting position of some is breath taking on its immediate knee jerk negativity and its weighing the club down.
Sure, we dont want to be in league one , yes it has been frustrating , but lets not start with oh my god what are they doing as an opening gambit on every issue.

Try looking up the word supporter in a dictionary , Ive checked several and dissing everything and everybody seems to be missing from the explanations .

Look Blade - I was OTT, as usual so apologies. I admire the true supporter in many ways but also pity them for clinging on to a dream that McCabe has long since destroyed.

The day our support grassed Lee Croft because his team dared to score a late equaliser was final straw for me but that's my opinion on it. we also have booing and tension when people try and pass it?

Where I agree is that our away numbers are sometimes staggeringly good - but can also drop alarmingly sometimes.

I have said its better for all when McCabe finally is relieved of his duties , as he opted out years ago , but, hes still our financial anchor in choppy seas , without him , creek paddle scenario kicks in.
No theres not bundles of investment, blaming him for that is fruitless and naive, saying he put us here, well surely our results put us here, which is why we need to support the club, ignore mccabe , and back the lads.
Recriminations dont do any of us any good, the arguments on the kop and in the stands are born out of frustration, instead of focusing on whos to blame why not let us take a more proactive positive route of backing the side, like we used to.If we ignore the back room stuff and centre solely on the here and now, and not on selling Beattie or why they tried investing in china, who gives a fig , it wont change anything
 
What is strange is that whilst other clubs have attracted investment eg Fulham, Swansea, Norwich City, Cardiff City, Leicester, Southampton, Brighton, Wigan, all either similar sized or smaller clubs we do not attract investment - Surely McCabe is the reason for that!
No we don't want to be a Portsmouth, Coventry City or Hearts but I would have thought we were a more attractive proposition than many in the Football League.
We can't keep thanking McCabe for bailing us out - he is the main reason we're in the brown sticky stuff!
 
investment comes when it comes , we are not alone in waiting , its easy to pick clubs on the up ands say theyve had decent investment , but equally bristol city wolverhampton any other league 1 club and any league 2 club and around 10 championship clubs are sitting in hope like us

We are not thanking him for "bailing" us out , just some former chairmen, and chairmen at other clubs have just buggared off as at portsmouth, or withdrawn everything like coventry,again he has no need to and if Id received the abuse ha e has Id have left us in the lurch, but he is doing enough to keep us ticking over , afloat, admitted hes just plugging the holes, but we could be underwater by now as there is no one else, literally .
I understand the vitriol towards him but its what we have , till our prince charming turns up, back biting and constant personal bashing wont change a thing , only for the worse, lets try and get through a part of a season without mentioning him , and just focus on the stuff on the grass, or the cuties like her above , a much nicer topic

I never thought I'd find myself (partly) agreeing with Mic, but if you remove his obligatory dig at McCabe, there's some truth in what he says.

All football clubs attract a proportion of thick/mindless/unpleasant fans. We are no different from other clubs. To claim that SUFC have the best fans is nonsense. We have some good ones, some bad ones and some indifferent ones. Support your club and ignore the rest - particularly those in blue and white.
