Is it time for a New Kit Thread?

I find it frustrating QPR's kit is the same brand as ours yet ours always seems rushed/last minute.

I understand there's sponsorship to consider, so no two clubs are alike, but even so it would be nice to see something earlier for a change.

QPR's kit looks a bit better quality this year, looking through the other Errea kits on this link they do as well:

Aldershot Errea away kit out: https://www.footballshirtculture.com/new-kits/aldershot-town-2024-25-errea-away-shirt.html

Red & White Stripes - Red stripe in the middle. Max 3 full Red stripes visible. Striped back and sleeves, no black outline.

Black shorts

White socks with black trim.

Convert sponsor logo to black with white outline.

Give it back to Adidas. Apart from the 2020/21 home kit, they were all good and fitted well, template/bespoke or not.

When I look at recent kits I think the 2021/22 shirt was nearly flawless (you can argue about the lack of stripes on the back, but I didn't mind that).
And even if you don't like the design, you know what you get from Adidas in terms of quality. Their products never look cheap.

Errea on the other hand seems like a complete wild card and so far I'm not convinced at all.

The 22/23 promotion shirt, if sold by Adidas, would have broken all united records for a shirt.

Despite the iffy quality just bought the home shorts for £10. They've plenty of sizes available for all the kits with shirts long or short sleeve £20 and socks at £5.
It's like going back to the early 2000s where you could easily pick up any size shirt in the bargain basket for about £15 come the end of the season.

These are a good price for just £3 too

might help with the stench we’ve left on this season

Play in these. They can’t even shift them for £15 as the fit is so bad.

It doesn’t matter. I assume it’s more Error el crapo wank.

I really like the yellow and women's kits from this season but wouldn't even bother buying Errea at sale prices as the quality just looks shite

One of the very few highlights of this season was this colour combination seen away at Brighton during a flukey 1-1 draw:

Hope we keep it as a third kit option

That should be our away colours. Yellow with red trim and Red Shorts

Our 3rd kit should be White with Black Trim

Agree completely but there's no way the club will keep the same away kit for two seasons on the spin. However we do sometimes keep the old away kits as third strips don't we?

I think we should have a mass burning of this seasons shirts (home and away) in the car park before the Florist match. For me, those shirts will always be synonymous with abject failure and utter humiliation…Let’s get rid.

Yeah, always white socks

It's becoming more common for clubs to launch one new kit each summer.

So home one summer, away the next.

Seems to be a happy medium as each kit lasts two years (more if the away becomes the third) while the club still get a sales boost every year.

V Wigan in the relegation game at home. 2007.
Great fact about this: our shirts had the new style lettering and numbering on it a season early. A nice window on the world of what would have been had Webber not hit the post or had Jags decided against waving to his family in the stands when that corner went in the box.
