Blades Season Ticket Holders will get an exclusive chance to meet new manager David Weir next month.

As part of the Club’s ongoing commitment to engage with supporters, Season Ticket Holders are invited to welcome the new Gaffer at a ‘Meet the Manager’ forum in the Platinum Suite at Bramall Lane on Thursday 18th July.

Doors will open at 7pm and the sixth highest capped Scottish international of all time will take part in a question and answer session in what should be a fascinating insight to Weir’s vision and plans for the future.

Tickets are free but must be obtained in advance. The maximum number the room can hold is 350 people so please acquire as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. All tickets for this event must be collected in person from the Blades Ticket Office at Bramall Lane and will be issued on a first come, first served basis.

House beer and lager will also be available for just £2.90 a pint throughout the evening, so, whilst drinking responsibly, enjoy a few beers to welcome our new Gaffer to the Blades family.

For those who cannot make the event, S24SU.com will be covering the event live as usual, watch this space for details.

I dunno... bobby off on your holidays and when you get back you find that your husband has signed you up to a few hours touch-typing without your knowledge ;)

Got my tickets. I'll be seeking a solemn and binding promise that we'll never ever ever HOOF again!

So, who will be in attendance at this one?

5 of us, but could do with another. Can someone inbox me if they have one spare or someone drops out.

Cheers

I'm going with my dad and a couple of mates. Weir all looking forward to it.

Will you be asking him what he thought of the interview process?
Did Dave Bassett tell him he would be expected to "hoof it" if he got the job etc..

No, I think Mr. Bassett has embarrassed the club enough already, don't you? There's not much doubt, is there, who Arnold was talking about when he labelled us 'prehistoric'? Some of us, of course, were years ahead of him.

I doubt I'll ask anything at all, to be honest. I'm rather shy and uneasy about speaking in public.
