In your opinion. He’s failed to demonstrate that so far.
And that of everyone I know, and the vast majority on here (not specifically a thread with a few pissing the bed about losing him) it seems to me.In your opinion.
Doesn’t make it a fact, just opinions we’ve all got them. My opinion is he is good enough to play in this league, he may not have set it alight and clearly had his head turned but if you watch him and think ability wise he is not upto standard then we will have to agree to disagree. And that of everyone I know, and the vast majority on here it seems to me.
But why wouldn’t to we want to tie players down?
My guess is that we’ve inflated our wage structure beyond what’s sustainable long term, and it takes longer for players to greatly reduce their expectations, hence deals taking far longer or not getting done. You tell me. It seems an absurd, braindead approach to running a football club.
Could do with someone waking up the person at BDTBL who organises new contracts before we end off with half a team without a pot to piss in to replace them.
It’s all about opinions obviously, but I’m really surprised that anyone’s failed to notice the way he’s outmuscled almost every week. And that of everyone I know, and the vast majority on here (not specifically a thread with a few pissing the bed about losing him) it seems to me.
And I’d suggest if he’d looked premier league quality, premier league clubs would be out muscling Seria A clubs right now.

The signs are that contracts are starting to get sorted.Bettis: “New contracts? Think Hartlepool”
Do partly agree with this, particularly when he's up against a big CF. His best games for us this season have come when he's played centrally in a 3 - I think that gives him the opportunity to play as the 'spare' man more often and allows him to read the game which is one of his better qualities. He isn't physically imposing enough to dominate many forwards at this level. He does have other good physical attributes though - namely a change of pace and an ability to make excellent block tackles.don’t think he’s physically up to the modern premier league
The signs are that contracts are starting to get sorted.
And I’d suggest a good clear out is what’s needed.
I’m not sure of the contract situations of individual players, so hopefully we won’t lose any of the better ones.
Have we told them we’re selling them or is it a case of the three we’re on about wanting away? I can understand them thinking we aren’t going anywhere making them want away but let’s stop pretending we are forcing them out of the door ffs.To happen three times though, along with lots of our young prospects not being tied down, means a degree of skepticism about our “efforts” to tie players down is more than reasonable.
They’re one of the best teams in serie A, who regularly play in Europe. I’d say they’re pretty bigWhatever the circumstances, since promotion to the top division in world football we have seen our best players leave - and a lot of people actually think that’s ok
Are Napoli really that big ?
Honestly

Anel has now joined Jebbo as good enough to have made the Brazil 1970 WC winning side despite plenty of criticism of their performances on here.
Have you decided how many of The Sensational Sixteen you never shut up about you would keep?
Aye
“Vedi Napoli e poi Muori”
How have I said we’re forcing them away?
I think given only one player who will have a demonstrable impact on our fortunes next has renewed (Brooks), that’s sufficient to indicate that our current efforts aren’t enough or aren’t working. That’s a reasonable position.
God there’s some backward thinking folk
Apparently Berge and Anel aren’t that good ... the mind boggles
You’ve all been brain washed ... owner first want us ... sell ... sell and keep any money coming in to the club.
By the time he leaves every single aspect of the club will have taken a huge step back off and on the field
Whilst his form has dropped quality always wins out over the long term. And some of the follow on posts certainly suggest he’s not good enough. This forums posters suggest that Anel’s for has dropped somewhat. Not that he’s no good. There’s a difference.
The property assets are back in the football club. That’s a positive no matter how you view things overall.
Ignoring the fact that the three in question wanted/want out despite that clearly being the case.
Similarly with question you won’t answer SIXTEEN players etc etc ignoring that half need shipping out, by popular opinion.
I agree. Not brainwashing though. We see opinions we don’t agree with after every game or player transfer. It’s the the world works.Whilst his form has dropped quality always wins out over the long term. And some of the follow on posts certainly suggest he’s not good enough.
Whilst that is a small positive overall there is really nothing to show for 3/5 years in the premiership.
Maybe eight from the s s s s s s sixteen then? Not the shocking disgrace and incompetence you were suggesting the club was guilty of with no idea where club and player/agent currently stand.I don’t know enough about whether Anel truly wants out or not, though I expect the usual channels will start parroting that in earnest.
I’d look to renew:-
Baldock
Bogle
RND
Egan
Jebbison
Arblaster
I’d consider Foderingham to compete for the #1 and possibly McBurnie, as I expect we’d downgrade in the free transfer. You might want Davies or Amissah back as a back up on the cheap if we can’t bring in a GK.
Probably 6 or 7 first teamers as above and some of remaining youngsters.
i would say that a large proportion of the club has stayed the same whilst a significant has got worse. Not “every single thing” then? Enough to correctly criticise without over egging the pudding to strengthen the agenda. It’s a forum sickness.

Certainly not enough improvement for the riches the top division brings.
Lots believe everything that comes out of the princes mouth ..
I think you need a lie down Sean
“Nurse!” indeed.
