Not tried either so can't comment.

People who say he ran away when the going got tough are well within their rights.

I don't care anymore we need some passion and leadership so front door, back door, side door or patio door i don,t care we need a change now

He displayed a distinct lack of passion and leadership last time he was in role, so what changed?

losing every week without a fight has changed
That exactly what happening last time he was here, the only difference is Hecky has more points at this stage at this stage of the season. He also gained more points than Wilder in the season he exited via the trap door poisoning the well on his way out.

Why not Basset or Haslem, or Peter's? STOP LOOKING AT THE PAST. There are plenty of managers that show passion for a club with no affiliation in their past to United. Find one. Then again the last one we found stunk the place up too. Maybe it's upper management that is the problem? Could Prince to Hecky all quit? Is that possible? Rhetorical question by the way.....just fkin frustrated for all those that hold this club dear to their hearts.

I heard a rumour this week, allegedly someone who played golf with wilder and baldock (dont know if he plays golf ) and matt fitzpatricks dad, told my best mate that if we lost to bournemouth wilder was coming in. As im not ITK about anything i dont know if its real but the source of the rumour is related to matt fitzpatrick, i have no idea if wilder plays golf with these people but i thought i should share the rumour as no one is named and it might be complete bollox, but apparantly it was wilder who mentioned it.
As a side note my last piece of any ITK info was complete bollox

Forgot about the trap door, didn't know about the well either what did he put in it?

He absolutely destroyed any self believe and confidence by continually blaming the players, taking zero responsibility himself and then throwing in his resignation whenever someone didn’t give him what he wanted.
Exactly the opposite of what you’re saying we need.

But Baldock, Fleck, Foderingham, Bogle, Egan, Robinson haven't changed ....

Can't imagine the players he threw under the bus and wouldn't play for him last time are going to suddenly going run through brick walls for him!
Maybe not walls but plenty of doors to run through

Spoke to a few older/ wiser Blades around me on the Kop and almost everyone said

Don’t know if Wilder is the answer but it’s a pretty much gauranteed upgrade on
Hecky.

At the moment the players play like they’ve just met each other, at least with Wilder we’ll be well drilled and give more effort trying to win.

Might still lose most of the games but don’t mind that as long as we give it a go and go down fighting.

Again that opinion is fine, but it involves ignoring the evidence or your own eyes from the last time he was here when there was no fight, they looked completely disorganised and there was no effort to win. He just kept picking Lunny to prove a point and was disparaging about his league one players.
If you are saying it would be different this time, I’d ask what makes you think that because he doesn’t have any of the momentum or good will that he had before?

I'm at the point now where I'm not even bothered if Wilder can't improve us. It literally can't be any worse than this from a performance and fan enjoyment point of view, so what's the harm in taking a gamble? I can't imagine there are many other options.

If it doesn't work out we're no worse off, we're getting relegated anyway.

I know what you mean. A drowning man will clutch at a straw!

But we were worse last time under Wilder. 🤷‍♂️

2 of them are dead

Nope, 14.

But 11 from 28 would still have been better than this season haha.
I think your numbers are wrong and we had 11 points going into the Leicester game prior to which he left and we got dicked. We finished on 23 which is a better return with half the number of games.
This season we have 5 from 13. Wilder had 1 from 13 at the same stage.

Whatever it is you’re suggesting, the numbers aren’t supporting it.
