As Baldock said in his post-match interview

Its great to get the first win on the board and pat ourselves on the back... but at the end of the day it means nowt if we now let ourselves feel content and happy for getting a win on the board and then letting our desire and effort levels drop back down next weekend.

We go again, Up The Blades! 🔥

A point against Brighton would be great for the confidence going into the break. Burnley and Bournemouth have to face Arsenal and Newcastle respectively, so hopefully they both keep losing and don't change managers during the international break.
And then after the break there are the big games against them. Big chance to turn things around pretty quickly.

Still think Brighton will probably have too much for us but we might be playing them at a good time. They are by their own admission not playing as well as they were a few months ago.

Was thinking the same, this needs to help restore any confidence lost, but let’s be right we nearly threw the win away with their undeserved goal and only a very shaky pen gave us the 3 points , don’t get me wrong I’ll take it any way we can.
Second half everyone stepped up and played with guts, determination & pride which has been lacking, we could have let our heads drop after they’re goal but we didn’t we pushed forward relentlessly and this eventually led to one of the 2 possible penalties being awarded, we need just now need to convert this into longer periods of the game.
Brilliant second half performance let’s keep it going

Yesterday was our Spurs away game in reverse. That defeat seemed to shatter our belief, confidence. Hopefully yesterday can have the opposite effect.

Yeah I hope so, I’ll be honest I’m still very negative on Hecky but he proved me wrong before and I hope he does again

Cant help but feel the whole Kompany charade has made him somewhat untouchable and he's certainly not a quitter. Reckon it will take some for them to remove him

Thought he'd be given his marching orders after that 1st half..

Dont know what he said at the break, but it was a different team that came out.. Well done.

Our season will be defined against Burnely and Bournmouth.
