Ted Hufton. Goalkeeper who played for us during WW1. Went to West Ham, played in the first FA Cup final at Wembley and got 6 England caps

I couldn’t find a goalkeeper so had to put Jeff Eckhardt in goal, he played for both and went in goal for Stockport as an emergency keeper!!

Unless we only ever had a team full of academy players, and none of them ever left to play for anyone else, ALL our players would have played for us and someone else wouldn't they?
Chances of us playing the 'other' team would be pretty high wouldn't it? 🤔
