It's back by popular demand (ok no demand at all) but sod it. We have lost so let's see if ay ex Blades did any better this week.

Feel free to chip in on any I have missed.

Championship

Darius Henderson got the start for Forest and was the hero scoring a late goal drilled in after the keeper has spilled to win it at Blackburn. Greg Halford replaced Andy Reid just minutes before the goal.

Nick Blackman scored with a trademark penalty (his first for Reading I believe?) as his side got a point at Bolton. Blackman went off just after the hour.

Former Blades loanee Kyle Bartley was a substitute (dropped after first few games) as his side Birmingham won at Yeovil.

Another ex loanee Keith Treacy was an unused sub as Burnley won 2- 1 at Hillsborough and Sam Vokes started and scored the second goal for Burnley; a text book back post header.

Jacob Mellis and John Cofie were subs for the Tykes. Mellis came on but Barnsley lost with virtually the last kick (rather own goal header) of the game.

Jamie Ward was a sub and came on as Derby won away at Brighton. Simon Francis and his Bournemouth side were hit for 6 at Watford.
It was a nightmare for former Blades Shaun Lowry and Shaun Derry as Millwall were thumped at Ipswich. Derry started after signing on loan from QPR in the week and Lowry scored an own goal.
Ian Bennett and Jonathan Stead were on the bench as Huddersfield drew with QPR.

League One

Bradford had a thumping 4-0 win at home to Carlisle. Paul Thirwell started for the struggling Cumbrians who have conceded 8 goals in 2 games. Mark Yeates scored an absolute peach for City who also had Andrew Davies and starting Kyel Reid on the bench.

Kyle McFadzean was involved as a sub at the end in a thriller as Crawley drew 3-3 at Tranmere who had Evan Horwood in their side; Crawley being pegged back at the death. Billy Clarke scored for Crawley. Claude Davis, an unused sub, saw his Rotherham side draw 0-0 at home to Preston.
Chris Robertson played for Port Vale who went down to early season pace setters Colchester. Connor Brown played as Oldham lost at home to Walsall where Ben Purkiss was an unused sub.

Cark Ikembe and Danny Batth started for Wolves who thumped Gillingham.

David McAllister was on the bench as Shrewsbury were thumped at Orient. The Shrews only named 5 subs. Sam Wedgbury played as Stevenage lost to Swindon.

League Two

James Beattie got a point on the board after his sides heroics in the week at Middlesbrough in the League Cup. On the Sky game his Accrington side drew 2-2 with Portsmouth. Joahnnes Ertl was suspended but Danny Webber played for the hosts and assisted on the first goal but was isolated up front often on his own.

Two former Blades squared off from the dugout as Kevin Blackwell and Chris Wilder met. Oxford who included Dave Kitson (played 86 minutes), got the better of the contest to go top of the league.

Richard Cresswell's York went down 2-0 at Dagenham. Jordan Chappel played for Torquay who drew at Morecambe but he was taken off after 57 minutes.

Matt Duke and Northampton beat Newport and Adam Chapman 3-1 at Sixfields, the first game of two this weekend at the ground.

Jon Joe O'Toole played for Bristol Rovers who drew with Scunthorpe at home .

Early season pacesetters Fleetwood won with Ryan Cresswell and Stephen Jordan featuring.

Simon Walton came on for Hartlepool who lost to Southend despite playing 10 men much of the game. Jake Speight was on the bench for Mansfield who drew with Exeter.

Scotland

Aaron Barry started and was booked as Dumbarton drew with Lyle Taylor's former side Falkirk.
