Long
McMahon Collins Maguire Hill
Robson McDonald Doyle Murphy
Kitson Forte
Subs:- Coyne, Westlake, Higginbotham, Whitehouse, Flynn, Poleon, Ironside

A bit harsh on Flynn perhaps but I think we need more pace and creativity to break teams down at home.
I'd probably bring Flynn back in for the away matches where he makes us more solid.

Swap Flynn for Robson and I'd go for that.

Doubt both Murphy and Forte will start though.

Agreed both might not start. With all the rain, pitch might be heavy. With this in mind might need to select players who are definately 100% fit and not coming back from injury.

I'm confident about this one, come on blades lets make some noise! Lets hope we trounce them.

Do you think you will do us, we've been shit since our cup run but we beat Doncaster 3-0 mid week and it was the best performance of the season so who knows. Chadwick is out but smith should replace him after his 4 match ban. Izale is of the mark now and bamford from Chelsea is back upfront, are you at full strength ?

Can I be honest here. I despise MK Dons more than the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, and Leeds United. That is because they are proper football clubs who are where they are on merit and are football clubs with a rich history. MK dons aren't, they should have earned their place in the league on merit. As far as I'm concerned you will never be accepted in my book

Sorry Brownie but much as I don't like the Plastics, you can't compare them to the Pigs. The Scum aren't a proper football club, they're a bunch of inbred fuckers who'd be better off bulldozed into the sea with breeze blocks round their necks.

Don't hate anything as much as I hate them, they're scum, simple as.

Sorry Brownie,
They are a proper club, they have a strong junior base, and the town is fully supportive of the club
Get real - they are a club on the move and they fully deserve their place in the Football League - far more than the likes of Portsmouth and other clubs that have gone bust!
Get Real - look at the clubs that have bucked the system gone bust and returned bigger stronger and owing many small suppliers millions of pounds - Southampton, Leeds, Portsmouth, to name but a few!!
MK took over Wimbledon when they were broke, no home ground, no fan base!

I doubt Forte will start. I'd expect Flynn to play wide and Murphy off of Kitson.

Izale is nailed on to score and worried that you have Gleeson back.

Close to full strength now Murphy and Forte are back.

Hope we muller em, takin my four year old son on the kop today it will be his first league game, (i previously took him to fa cup games against salisbury and birmingham city) He is properly excited. UTB!

I can't make it worth work. Have to see how much work I can get done while frantically refreshing my foxy twitter updates.

Don't sit on the fence, PAD...

(Have you taken your medication today?)

How anyone could actually come on here and defend what fake Wimbledon did is beyond me. People in MK weren't supportive of football until Winkleman raped another football club and parachuted the sloppy seconds into that shithole. Where were these people 20 years ago? There are 92 league clubs, and regardless of what you think about a few, only one was born illegitimatley.

Absolute Rubbish!
How do you know that the people of MK werent supportive?
Winkleman didn't rape another club - it was finished - there was talk of them going to Dublin at one stage!
They were playing in front of a handful of people on a borrowed ground!
Football at present is rotten to the core Ask the supporters of Coventry just up the road or Glasgow Rangers! Portsmouth, Cardiff, Leeds, Southampton, Luton, Plymouth
You come on spouting b*****cks about MK when you haven't a clue - words fail me!

No problem with the supporters of MK. Although I'm sure they couldn't give a shit about what people think these days as they must hear it at every match.

And there's no doubt that Wimbledon were on the cusp of going under and a good number of their supporters had deserted them. But even if they were only getting attendances in the hundreds, it was still a disgusting situation.

A football club was relocated to a different city town with little regard for its supporters. A new football club therefore got a head start on all those clubs in the leagues beneath it.

You can argue that it was a choice of a new club in a new town... or no club at all. I think the vast majority of Wimbledon supporters would have happily waited until they went under to lose their history in the way they did.

And Winkleman has even said he regretted the way MK Dons came into being, so defending his actions are a little pointless.

Then why didn't MK start their own team 30 years ago if it is such a hotbed of football?
Because thirty years ago Milton Keynes was a very small place population around 50,000 and in the early stages of development - now the population is in the region of 250,000 and increasing year on year faster than any place in the UK.
As the town has grown so has the demands for infrastructure, leisure facilities and entertainment
In the early days the 'locals' who were football supporters travelled to Northampton, Watford and Luton for League football and many of the new inhabitants were coming from Glasgow, Liverpool, London and yes even Sheffield - perhaps a tad to far to travel every other week to see their team.
By taking Wimbledon to Milton Keynes, Winkleman supplied League Football to the emerging population of Milton Keynes - the reason that Wimbledon was available was that Merton Council didn't want to back them and they onl;y had a small hardcore of fans - they were bust, no money, broke and going to the wall.
For football fans to call them is hypocritical - read Fit & Proper by Matthew Bell & Gary Armstrong - Sheffield United in the 1990's haboured UK's biggest white-collar fraudster, also had a chairman that couldn't decide to be a man or a woman, also had a chairman subject to an international arrest warrant and another chairman who is a fugitive from the law who was in turn succeeded by a man with connections to Libyan arms dealers
MK a disgrace - look in your own back yard first before throwing stones!

You need to get one of those US psychoanalysts to treat your problem, to let you release all that anger :) PS I bet your co workers don't understand :)

What on earth do our former chairmen have to do with anything to do with MK? Christ, I don't entirely disagree with your defence of MK, but you don't half take any chance you get to slag off SUFC.

And regardless of anything, they still should have started at the bottom of the pile.

Sheffield United were taken over by several twats. They / we didn't harbor them. That's nonsense. It' s like blaming ManUre for being shafted by the Glaziers. You've got that arse about tit fella.

Just quoting the bookcover Alco!
What I was trying to say is there is far worse things in football than MK Dons
MK Dons has happened, history and now another phase in their history
I get far more concerned on what's happening to the game in general today!
Anyway off now to the Lane, Onwarsd and Upwards we hope!

Milton Keynes already had a football team prior to wimbledon moving there.

Most people round here watched Man ure, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal on tv and never went to live football, they still follow them and go to MK. 20 years ago a lot of our fans weren't born for some the stadium has been here their whole life and just want to go to their local team. Yes it was wrong but it's been done and it can't be changed blame the FA and Wimbledons owners for moving it not people for wanting to go to watch football. But enough of that what's the score gona be 2-1 Mk for me.

Agree with that - MK need a team but should have built it rather than commandeered one. It just mustn't happen again.

Anything could happen today. If we play to our usual home form we'll lose or scrape a draw. If we turn up we could win by two clear goals. First scorer crucial to set the tone.

The fact is that if MK had procured a team through legitimate means, they would probably have been a lot of people's 2nd favourite team. But they didn't, so they aren't.

Stock answer for anyone who disagrees?
NO Not a closet pigs fan - just someone who gets pissed off when people spout about something they obviously don't have a clue about!

You are the forums' resident MK expert. I doff my cap to thee sire.
