with 14 games left i still feel there will be alot more jostling for position in the top 8 over the next month or so and nobody has run away with this league....yet!
does anyone believe theres a team up there who can go on an unbeaten run!?
injuries, suspensions, court cases ;) aside, i'd love to believe we are more than capable

I believe Yeovil are capable of going on a 9 match winning streak.

Our blip, if it was a blip, came at the right time. It's unlikely that Yeovil will be able to keep up their run and should drop a few points now and hopefully, Bournemouth are at the start of theirs.

We've started a run and are capable of sustaining it, it's a case of whether there's a Wendy or two run lurking in the pack.

Looking at the remaining games our March is quite tough, but our April isnt as tough hopefully we can get at least 4 more points in Feb and then play out of our skins in March to leave us with every chance.

Could it be our year? I can but dream........

Well, we could go up, but then again we might not.

Carlise (h)
Walsall (a)
Swindon (h)
Crawley (h)
Portsmouth (a)
Preston (h)

couldn't really ask for a much better run-in than that.

Swindon will either push on or implode now Di-Canio has gone. No-one else worries me apart from maybe Preston who beat Bournemouth last week and may finish strong.

Either way our "blip" hasn't really affected us at all, (league position wise) and we should have more than enough to see the job through.

It's not the run in that bothers me, it's the March fixtures.

Partly agree, NYB. But as the top 8/9 is so tight most fixtures appear potentially tough but,by the time we play say Crewe away and Tranmere away (Good Friday :)), they may well have slumped.

Sounds obvious I know, but if we just keep going, the rest have us to worry about.

Who knows how things will pan out, it will be twists and turns all the way. Massive game today that we can't afford to lose, lets hope the stars in the team come out and shine!

UTB!

Yesterday's Sentinel had an article talking about Crewe's push for the play-offs, which looks very optimistic to me, but there may be an element of post-semi-final-pre-Wembley euphoria there.

In 33 games weve lost 5 , keep that up and we lose only 2 more we should be there or thereabouts
all games look winnable just now which is testament to how Danny has done a better job than even last season in making sure we have good options in all the key areas

and as I predicted Robson will see us over the line with his experience (not Brian obviously)
even though the goal scorers will hog the headlines

The next match is the most important ! Don't look beyond that as a team and the rest have to play catch up. Injuries and suspensions will play a massive part in the run in for every side. Let's hope we have a bit of luck for a change surely we are due some?
