Two players we should look at are Lucas Assadi and Dario Osorio, both 19 at Universidad de Chile. Neither would break the bank and their manager has already hinted that Osorio could be sold.

Assadi plays anywhere behind the strikers. He's quick, agile and loves to run with the ball. Chips in with a few goals as well. Been linked with a few English clubs this summer.

Osorio is 6'1, quick but stronger than Assadi and very good in the air. Glides past players like Berge but with quicker feet. He also has a cannon of a left foot and has scored some absolute worldies from outside the box. Was linked with West Ham and Wolves earlier in the summer.

I'm all for bringing in young talent for the future ! Wouldn't be what we need right now though ,Hecki said we need experience !
These lads would need time to : 1 work permit takes a few weeks.
2 :Time to adjust to playing in a new environment .
As we are Desperate now! would it be wise to spend what we have on these young players who are a gamble we really can't afford just now.
No doubt the South American continent throws up some real talent as Brighton are showing,
There owner (Bloom)has invested a fortune in them money he will not get back ! We need a sugar daddy like him ! Is there a wealthy blade willing to do what Bloom has done for Brighton,don't understand how he can do or done with no recourse to FFP.

Worth pointing out that whilst Leandro is only 20 he’s starting and scoring in the the Brazilian top division 7 in 13 this year and 13 in 35 last year. Whilst of course he might not adapt to England or English football that’s true for any foreign signing and he’s already got experience and good performances at a very high level.

He might be beyond our reach but in terms of his profile I’m not sure we could ask for better in a foreign signing.
