Be interesting to see if he is in the Cup team toneyt

Hopefully this is true . One of my best friends is a season ticket holder and says Hamer was far better for them than Gyokores. He’s refused to sign a new contract and is expected to leave . He’s gutted . He messaged me yesterday when hearing about Berge saying “hands off Hamer”
As ever UTB !

Can’t say I watch Coventry a lot but everytime I’ve watched them Hamer has he’s been excellent. Seems to have a similar say in games to NDiaye where if he plays well Coventry play well.

15 million is rich for a 26 year old Championship player out of contract at the end of the season. Really like the player mind. Robins is doing a great job at Coventry btw.
Coventry are in a fairly strong position on this.
They got £20m for Gyökeres, have replaced him and still have cash in the bank. They arent desperate for the money. They also know we have over £30m in player sales and desperately need players.

But Darren on twitter says its not true 🤣

He's not coming to us is he. Why swap a championship club that seems to have some ambition for one that will be back there next season? He will want to go to a Premier league club and until we start acting like one I wouldn't blame any player for turning us down
Why do we have to draw up transfer plans, sound out targets, consider making moves...

Why doesn't someone at the Lane ring someone at club x and say do you want to sell Hamer for £10M?

'We want 15M'

Tek 12 and afe or were out...

'No worries cocker' medical at 3'?

Sweet, I'll BACS £4M nah, can you sent your sort code
So Hamer doesn’t have an agent?

If we had £20m to start with, and got an additional £20m for Ndiaye, I'm not sure why we are only "entering the race" for Hamer now. If they are after £12-15m and we wanted him, did we really need to sell Berge first? We needed at least one more midfielder whether Berge left or not and we seemingly had the money weeks ago.

We just seem to have been very slow to act. Maybe we've done everything we could to get players in early and this is just the way it has worked out, but starting the season with Norwood/Osborn/Slimane as our midfield is underwhelming, and selling clubs will know we're desperate now.

Did he not say 'don't get too excited'? I know that's still not a positive response but he's not entirely saying its not true 🤣

would be a great signing and combined with the signing of souza would give our fanbase a big lift after all this doom and gloom i would definetly pay the 12m plus add ons weve got to go all out to get this guy

Leeds will probably be able to pay him more than we can, we're in the PL now but probably won't be next season. Leeds possibly won't be next season.

It's bad that we're not the strong favourites in this signing race, we really should be. Any PL club apart from Luton enter the race and we're fucked.

Don't forget Luton have an airport.
Crucial.
We'd be blown out the water.

Generally pretty good, but if Darren Smith has apparently denied it that worries me. Say what you like on DS but he's been on the money as a rule for obvious reasons.
Prince basically admitted he uses misinformation in his 40 years of sports negotiations. I’m keeping my powder dry on how this is panning out. Think Ndiaye sabotaged SUFC with his disregard for timing but heyho let’s go for it.

Should we have gone for better players and failed or signed lesser players early ? I guess whichever way it has not yet worked out.
Clearly the loans will be crucial.

Like how the tweet says we're "in talks" when the actual article says we're not in talks at all.
