Just don’t see how it’s possible Luton don’t have a bigger budget for all the chat of ours only being 19th out of 20

Our budget pre sales was

3 per signings for an average of 4 mil. 1 foreign loan all of which were squad fillers and 2 loans - only replacing 2/3 we had last year

We were planning to come up weaker than last year even pre sales.

Pathetic really I reckon 5/6 championship sides will have bigger budgets

Incredible that that's the case.
Souza (£10m), Trusty (£5m), Traore (£4m), Slimane (£2m), Larouci (£1m loan fee).

Spent £22m.

Iliman Ndiaye (£20m), Sander Berge (£15m).

Sold £35m.

Right now we're at a NET -£13m spend and according to DS only willing to spend another £20m which would be NET £7m.

Was that the budget all along then? To help Hecky and the boys stay up... £7m.
The accuntant is also now throwing in agent fees, paying the estate agents, taxis etc, anything he can to let us know we've spent more than we lesser mortals realise so have even less to spend.

We only had the 4th biggest budget in the champ last season

None of the ITKers have been bang on about owt so far.. so in other words. No one knows f all..
Yep. And when the one source of leaked info we do have constantly back tracks and bullshits, we actually know less than f all...

How do you know we haven’t got the money?

At a guess, we probably haven’t. I don’t take what PA says at face value unfortunately. The fact he says the monies raised from the sale of Berge and Ndiaye will be pumped back into the first team squad doesn’t necessarily mean it’s all going on transfer fees imo

I’m also beginning to wonder whether the £8m bonus’s owed to the players that should’ve been settled last month will be taken from these incoming revenues? After all, PA could argue he’s still thrown the incoming fees into the first team squad?

Just a thought

They shouldn’t have been settled last month. The article literally said they will be paid in September, as per the contracts

We'll do probably one more permanent deal and maybe two or three loans.
And that there highlights that this is all just opinion so maybe anything Baltic said should be taken with a large pinch of salt

Are you expecting more than that? If so, you're going to be dissapointed

Honestly, knowing United I'm expecting nothing.
But you posting that as fact when you know probably about the same as the rest of us is what I take issues with. Unless you're willing to not be cryptic and post concrete info I'm just going to view it as opinion and not that you're ITK

I stand corrected. I thought it was July. However, it doesn’t change my thoughts and I hope I’m wrong.

If we had the sort of money available that the two departures have raised, then I would’ve expected some movement on Hamer or Akpom, or some other significant signature by now. I just feel like we’re enquiring, then being told the fees and then saying thank you and goodbye? Literally treading water. No wonder Hecky is fked off

Worrying times, but there’s no wonder the glass is half empty atm

You haven't factored in agents fees which will be significant

On deals the size we've been doing, I doubt it.
Even if you add 15-20% on top, you're still only at c.£25m spend and I'm estimating at the heavier end on our fees.

We seemed to have budget for a huge contract going out to Ndiaye, as well as a signing on fee, where's that money disappeared to?

Does this level of investment seem appropriate to you?

You haven't factored in that the top line figures quoted will be based upon all different types of milestones and not what we will have likely currently paid out in transfer fees.

Common sense says that the players we've brought in on fees so far were budgeted for prior to the 2 big sales. Plus the figures paid out on those 4 permanents are roughly in line with the supposed 20m budget.

Therefore it's not unrealistic to expect 2 incomings to replace Ndiaye and Berge. If they were to be Hamer and Akprom they will cost less than the sum raised and probably be on less money.

So Hamer, Akprom and 2 loans is not
out of line with expectations and exactly what Hecky will be wanting

The guy on Blades Ramble (sorry don't know his name but seems pretty itk) said he thought another 4-5 signings by the end of the window.

Don’t think that’s any new news, two permanents and two loans is what’s expected.

Only the.clubs accountants will know ,what we can budget ,we are definitely trying to lower overall debt to safe guard the football club ,but it has to be a balancing act ,between investing and safeguarding.

Probably because I'm fairly new to the forum this.. so am I right in thinking this is the place to post rumours, ITK snippets you get fed? 😂

From what i've seen the past few years reading this forum most of the users on here with these snippets of ITK information generally get the information out before the curve of the local / wider media. If you assess it properly most pieces of information were likely correct at the time of publication

Information and likeliness of it happening, that was correct earlier today... may then move to being 'incorrect' (out of date) later today.

(ITK people could also unknowlingly be fed dud information).

So is the rumours page for this ITK information or not?👀

Most ITK information that i see released is generally at the pre-bid stage before it becomes public information from the wider media who then run the story more openly. This pre-bid stage is naturally the most volatile. United are that slow on most signings that this volatile period lasts forever and a day with us.

I don't really understand the 2 or 3 users on here, naming and shaming the ITK people. Don't they understand any of the above, can't they be patient, can't they accept that things change quickly and that doesn't mean the ITK person is then wrong? 😂

If it does your head in so much when the information changes then surely you are best not reading this part of the s24su forum?

Lets celebrate the ITK users of this forum😂🚀🚀🚀

(The twitter ITKs do my head in - I really should take my advice and not read them 🤪)
