Here we go, another shit storm on it's way. If there is genuine interest and a firm/realistic bid he will go. We haven't a hope of keeping him in reality. United could say no of course.....

Here we go again. We will lose him on deadline day, then replace him with a below average emergancy loan signing. I am under no illusions, If a higher league club comes in with a good offer then we cant blame anyone for the sale. All I ever ask for is it to be invested correctly in the team. Which rarely happens!!

How many goals has he scored from open play this season? just curious

I would let him go to palace and bring in Taylor from Shrewsbury

If Blackman was to go, Hasn't young Joe Ironside done enough already to replace him. We could spend any money received more wisely to strengthen midfield.

If we have to sell this transfer window, I would rather it be Blackman than Long or Maguire.

Hello Scott, how are you today?

Ironside looks as likely to score for us as my Great Auntie Winnie (and that is a reflection on the team not just him). Good lad, works his socks off etc but he aint a replacement for a pacey striker/wideman. I agree, Blackie has scored very little from open play though.

I like Blackman, but I often feel that he's a bit of a square peg.

I prefer him on the wing, but he's certainly not a natural winger, but he is able to whip decent dangerous balls in plus on his day makes some excellent runs cutting inside.

It doesn't seem to work when he plays up front on his own or when he plays alongside a striker.

Not sure what we paid for him, but unless he has a release clause then we might be able to bump up a fee for him.

I know its a rumour, but if we can get decent money and bring in two or three players that can slot in better, then I wouldn't be too concerned. I would guess that he's on a fairly high wage as well.

How much would we need to pay for Luke Freeman from Stevenage or the lad that scored the 2nd for Brentford against us.

Hey and lets get Michael Brown in (not heard a Brownie rumour for a while)

close.. but to elaborate..
we will invest in a 35 year old journeyman pro who probably played for a mid table prem outfit ..in the last years of his career on a 3 year contract and pay more than we did to Blackman ;)

"it's sooo sheffield united.. he's gone already"

He could be a top winger (never a forward) if he could be arsed every now and again. I would pick him every week but he really must get his head right. I think this is lazy journalism ,they have probably looked at the top 6 scorers in the league and no doubt there will be a story on every one of them.

..

For the simple reason that I am not sure they have fixed the fax machine yet. It's still busted.
