Turkish lira of course!

in all seriousness, this ain't great news!
I knows he has his critics, however:
I think he offers versatility - more so than some (most) of the other strikers at the club.
He is pacey - and that's in short supply - particularly down the flanks.
And among other things he's inherently ball-greedy, doh......

If it's true it sends out a certain message to the players and fans alike. He's not been with us that long.......

Well we waited until the end of last season to lose all four of our highest scorers. We're starting early this season if this goes through.

Not the kind of preparing for the future I'd have hoped for really.

Paul Walker tweeted this earlier, I'd assume its related to this but could always a smokescreen:

"Wilson says one or two enquiries for his players but nothing concrete. Repeats again that no new faces expected to come in. #SUFC"

The bottom line is this.

If Wilson wants to sell Blackman or Collins because he thinks the money/wages made available will allow him to improve the team, then that's fine.

If they are sold against his wishes and it weakens the team then it will be another disastrous decision made by those who have been entrusted with running our club.

For me i dont think Blackman has done enough.
I had higher hopes for him.
Yes hes our top scorer. But how many of his goals have come from open play?
Maybe Danny thinks Diego can come in & do better?

, the young winger from Shrewsbury, very quick and skillful from what I've heard.
From what you've heard?
I really despair at times, one of our best players (no matter how it is put, he actually is) is being linked away and we have fans saying we should get rid and replace with a player that a) you appear not to know the name of and b) appear never to have seen him play.

Why sell a player who is one of our better performers (granted that's not a very impressive feat) and replace him with someone who may well not fit in with the team?

Because United never learn anything, unfortunately.

Yes, purely on what we replace him with. Is Porter still knocking around?

Well what fee is acceptable for us?
£2m?

Looks like he could be going.

Would it hurt us?

Yes, it will not help us get promotion, as despite his shortcomings we will not get anyone better in.

But promotion prospects are almost gone anyway. We have a couple of long term injuries and that seems to cripple the entire team.

For me Blackman started ok chasing everything down and lots of movement but lately just doesnt look interested at all.

When we paid less than £300,000 for him, if we got £2m that would be outrageous.

I reckon we'll get about £750,000 if he goes, which is fine providing we bring a couple of players in. I think we've said that before though...

It wouldn't be January without us weakening ourselves in the transfer window, would it?

If they're getting up to £15m for Zaha and believe Blackman to be the best man to replace him, we should be demanding more than that, surely?

so palace sell for Zaha for £15m then we need to be looking at £5m for our top scorer

but knowing united £1.5m paying us 2k a week

I completely agree, but I don't think we'll take advantage like we should do.

It'll probably work out to be a deal starting at £750,000 rising to £1.25m if they get promoted or scores with his right foot and something else ridiculous.

If we sell its how we replace That's most important.

So we're now selling the players we're trying to rebuild with?

It's little wonder supporters become so apathetic towards this club and football in general. Going nowhere this season or for a good while longer. Any tiny glimmer of hope I had has just been extinguished by this.....I was getting into the frame of mind to settle for the playoffs, we don't stand a chance of even achieving that now.

If I could believe for one minute that we're selling him for a decent price I could reluctantly accept it, but we all know that at best we have probably got back what we paid for him. Rubbish.
