Just sell Berge ( who won't have hardly any inpact when not injured) to offer illy a really good contract (who has lots of inpact)
Seems to have lost a touch of weight and think that will help him get about the pitch. Reversed my opinion on him now. Might be a big season for him. 13-15m sell, 12m and under keep maybe.

Oh, for the likes of David Mcgoldrick.
Why does anybody, with an ounce of intelligence, (though it would appear that in general life, due to social media / media propaganda etc, that the gene pool is seemingly regressing back to early man) need an agent ?. Agents will suck the life out of you as they live on your manipulated blood. If it ceases to move they die. Once Dracula was thought to be a fictitious character, reality bites !. Cannot anybody think & act for themselves anymore ?
If you are truly happy in a situation, be thankful. Money is not always worth chasing. Yes, as things stand, I, a long standing supporter of 50+ years (with too many ups / downs / misery to remember), think that this season, as things currently stand, will be a struggle.
I would love for a new contract to be signed & to possibly see his true potential in our colours, if it maybe for only one season. But for everyones sake, please get on with it & in the meantime get another striker & attacking midfielder in asap to alleviate some of the expected pain.
New Dawn Fades

(Verse 1)
In a cyber realm where voices collide,
Two users clashed with stories to confide,
Rocketman and T-Blade, they stood tall,
Their tales entwined like a digital squall.

(Pre-Chorus)
They debated if Iliman had a plan,
To join Marseille, or escape its span,
But truth eluded like a fleeting ray,
In this forum's twilight, where passions sway.

(Chorus)
Rocketman soared with conviction's flame,
T-Blade countered, staking his own claim,
In the midst of threads, their war unfurled,
The legend of Ndiaye, a story twirled.

(Verse 2)
Sunjihi watched, clueless and bemused,
Their banter amused, but she was confused,
The whispers of sources, who could say,
If Marseille's colors, Ndiaye would sway?

(Pre-Chorus)
Like puzzle pieces lost in the maze,
Facts and fictions in a chaotic craze,
But amidst the chatter and virtual glade,
One thing was certain, they missed Cadette.

(Chorus)
Rocketman soared with conviction's flame,
T-Blade countered, staking his own claim,
In the midst of threads, their war unfurled,
The legend of Ndiaye, a story twirled.

(Bridge)
Oh, Richard Cadette, where have you gone?
Your magical boots, we still gaze upon,
Memories linger, they'll never fade,
As Rocketman and T-Blade kept their charade.

(Verse 3)
In the forum's storm, they fought to sway,
Their virtual hearts in disarray,
But beyond the screens, let's not forget,
The real world spins, with its own regret.

(Pre-Chorus)
For in this digital realm, we find,
A tapestry of thoughts, both pure and blind,
As Rocketman and T-Blade crossed swords,
Their stories entangled, like woven cords.

(Chorus)
Rocketman soared with conviction's flame,
T-Blade countered, staking his own claim,
In the midst of threads, their war unfurled,
The legend of Ndiaye, a story twirled.

(Outro)
Let us remember, in this online race,
To seek the truth and find its grace,
For beyond the usernames we employ,
Lies a shared humanity to enjoy.

And though Sunjihi may not understand,
The passion that fuels this fervent band,
We'll cherish memories, old and new,
As we bid farewell, Richard Cadette, to you.

Wow how many pre-cursors did you have to chuck into ChatGpt to list all that lot lol

What does 'the Boss' reckon?

Just sell Berge ( who won't have hardly any inpact when not injured) to offer illy a really good contract (who has lots of inpact)
Or let’s remember we’ve just got in the PL, earning Ā£100m+ for the season and tell Ndiaye and Berge they are our going nowhere.

I think Ndiaye's reps back down and he signs the deal as is if we're genuinely prepared to let him walk for free in 12 months as opposed to selling him now
Based on absolutely nothing at all, I think Ndiaye pulls his agents into line and he signs the 3 year deal.
I genuinely think he wants to stay at this point and if he wanted to join Marseille he would have been pushing harder for that move and it would have happened. Agents feeding the media to put pressure on the club but they’re seeming confident they don’t have to budge and that can only be coming from one place, the player himself.
It’s now a waiting game to see who blinks first between the club and his agents but I reckon he makes it happen and he stays.

It's down to does Ili want 4k this season or circa 50k this season.

Marseille obviously thought they could put some media pressure on and that would lead to a low ball derogatory offer being accepted by us as the final piece of the jigsaw.

But fair play to the prince and the board we've taken the same hard line as with Sander that as long as the bid isn't meeting our valuation he'll be staying at the club no matter how long he has left on his contract.

Fwiw I don't think the Marseille board rate Ndiaye as highly as we do, but see him more as a prospect with resale value if they can get him cheap.

If they really wanted him badly they would have made a reasonable (any) bid by now.

The whole crunch time thing is moot. I'm sure all the fans and the club would love it to be resolved by now. However, if the club says 'you need to decide in the next 24hrs' and Ndiaye and his agent say 'how about maybe next week' we are hardly going to take the contract offer off the table. We don't appear to even have a sell option yet if Marseille haven't submitted a bid, so an ultimatum seems a really empty threat.

What I will say is the longer Marseille take to muck around, the better the quality of their bid needs to be.

Last thing we want to happen is be going into the last week of the window and scrambling around to find a player.

So I think the crunch time is more on their side than ours.

Personally I think there's a good chance that they've left it too late already.

Agree with this. My main point was that giving Ndiaye a deadline may be difficult. Him and his agent may well have agreed that if they haven't received a compelling proposal by the end of the window then he'll sign the contract. I can see this rumbling on. Hopefully I'm wrong!

Marseilles are apparently about to sell someone to FenerbahƧe and all their fans are adamant this will be the money that's offered for (and gets) Ndiaye. It's not much though. €13 million but 4 of that as a bonus. If they offer 9 million euros, surely that's knocked back.

Life was easier when the fans knew fuck all about what was happening. You just woke up one day and found out we'd sold Jones to Leeds. Yes you were upset but you didn't have to endure this will he won't he shit for weeks on end.
Aye
Is constipation the new ā€˜Beattie fluā€ ?
