spot on if fleck osborn norwood and coulibally are anything but last 20 off the bench were in trouble we definetly need at least 2 more good quality midfielders to come in and they both have to be automatic starters

Hecky didn't trust Coulibaly in the Championship never mind Prem. I'm choosing not to panic with 3 weeks left, however, we need to start getting some bodies through the door soon. LCB plus CB cover & Midfield need more quality. I'd like to see us add a keeper too, Wes tends not to be available for every game and Davies is not the ideal replacement in this league.
 
People are forgetting the match day squad will be 20. We need to supplement the bench of 9, we need at least 2 more midfielders

Also - Coulibally is injured and has basically never been fit for us.

yes agree plus theres no gaurantee the 3 foreign players weve signed will be up to premier league standard as much as were excited about their signings we now need 3/4 more quality signings and they all have to be starters not just squad players

I don’t mind Fleck & Osborn as most seem to on here. But I definitely don’t think they can be anything other than back up players to bulk the squad up. As you said anything that comes in now has to be ready to go straight in

ive nothing against either of them both been great servants to the club especially fleck just cant understand hecky thinking there good enough now for the premier league hope they both prove me wrong doyle and obrien would fit perfectly in to our system imo

In what way is Coulibally’s role purely his exotic background?

Does he play through the medium of dance?

Wasn't aware he actually played at all.
He's got an international cap for Mali and played in Norway and Belgium.
Got no idea why he's with us as even when we've been on the bones of our arse he never got a sniff.
Don't think he turns out much for any of the Under whatever sides. Seems to be injured quite a bit. Be interesting to see if he gets a squad number.
Surely shipping out back to Beershot or anothr United Wprls outfit would do him more good. He's been here more than long enough to evaluate him. trialists are commonly offered a deal or thanks but no thanks pretty swiftly.

I hope we are not signing new players who Hecky will not trust to play - that would be madness after keeping players like Coulibaly Fleck & Osborn who we know hardly play

He had a good game against Tottenham, were you unaware of that one?
 
Not bothered about McAtee good player but always going to be too expensive, Doyle on the other hand is needed unless we get more midfielders in.
I like an analogy it's like having the option of buying a sports car (McA) or an SUV when most of the time you only need it for shopping.
Edit: much as I love him as a player Fleck is like an estate but with a cylinder down.

Everyone had a decent game against those comedians. Coulibaly had a decent game, nothing more. Oh and he missed an absolute sitter. You unaware of that one?
 
McAtee's starting for Man City v Bayern Munich. Absolutely f***all chance he goes to us or anywhere else this season - he'll be starting for them in the smaller games and on the bench for the others.

Fingers crossed for Doyle. And as for the Cole Palmer rumours....non starter I reckon since they sold Mahrez. He's dangerous but basically a winger and one of the most one footed players I've ever seen - I wouldn't bother personally.

Might have a chance with Doyle I reckon but we need to find this seasons version of Mcatee. These loans will only happen when the club's have announced their squads I would imagine. Same with O Brien.

May not be so set in stone he's with the City squad for the season. He's only had 45 minutes pre-season against Yokohama who finished 2nd in the top tier of the Japanese league. Much bigger test for him here with a decent Bayern line-up, Pep may just be feeling him out a bit more against a bigger team. If they're truly turning down 30m for him though, I agree it's probably unlikely he leaves City this season for a loan or buy. I've got the game on so will see how he gets on.

I just watched the highlights. McAtee gave the ball away twice in midfield. Although he is very good, I think he is not ready to play for City, so he will either play very little and be on the bench, but I think he will go on loan again, but maybe not to us.
