Whatever anyone might say about how other parts of the club are being run. The day to day management of the team, and the media department continue to be top notch.

I sincerely doubt that the club would be posting very obvious pics and videos of Ndiaye with a smile on his face in training, if he was about to walk away. Nor, I suspect would his own representatives allow it either.

If he does leave now, it will be the biggest PR fuck up in many a year.

I don’t disagree you would have though they know he staying

I think if someone bids £20 mill he’s gone 🤷‍♂️

And ahead of his dream move, playing a game and then going on tour?

Unless he has some immense emotional ties to the club, this is very likely his last season at the club but taking away my selfishness for a second staying here is the best option for him.

He's now got the opportunity to prove himself Infront of the world, he seemingly raised eyebrows at the World Cup but if he shows the world he can perform at prem level, whether we're in that league or not he's going to have some massive clubs wanting his signature, but if he doesn't fancy taking on the move to S6, I'm sure he can settle for one of the big 6 teams potentially or a big European club.

If he stays this season, he could propel his career hugely, he's clearly already piquing interest from bigger clubs than us.
If he was only intending to stay for next season, why would he agree to sign a new deal?

He’s a free agent at the end of this next season 🤷🏻‍♂️

His wage increasing 15/20 fold for 12 months?
I don’t think United will offer him a one year deal or increase his wages by 15 or 20 times!!

I expect they may pay him £50k a week in the Premier League plus performance related bonuses.

But if he was a success next season and then available on a free, I suspect he could quadruple that wage and get a decent signing on fee

First sentence - agreed.

In terms of another bid, well it's a moot point if he has already extended his stay. But until anything is official then I admit to being just slightly anxious.

Twists and turns not over yet 🙈

"OM would still have two meetings scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday July 18, in the Iliman Ndiaye case.
While most of the media announced that the Iliman Ndiaye deal at Olympique de Marseille was falling apart, Daniel Riolo has just given hope to Marseille supporters. On the airwaves of RMC, the journalist assured that nothing was over yet. He assures that two meetings would still be scheduled tomorrow morning in the Ndiaye file at OM. False hope or real turnaround? To be continued, tomorrow then…"

Sounds like desperation to impress.

Unfortunately, this was never going to just 'go away' so early in the window.
Sounds like a bit of a face saving exercise underway.

If his Mrs doesn't want to leave because they are settled and United are going to increase his deal considerably, what are Marseilles going to do?

Overnight, make Marseilles less of a dangerous shithole?

Just googled this guy and he sounds like a shock-jock clickbait type prick.

"As in politics, Daniel Riolo claims the legitimacy of opinion journalism in football. This idea leads him to regularly raise controversies about French football, even if it means strongly opposing other consultants."

Looked up the author of this article. Young Student Journalist looking for work, lack of any real journalist chops and sports.fr are really quite small. Running against Lequipe's story is always a bold move. After searching for Riolo also I can find many posts from OM fans like the following. Fingers crossed.

I would only be guessing on these overnight French reports but agree with the above, seems like nothing. Last update I got was the shift in thoughts of the Ndiaye camp. Think it was always about keeping his options open over the summer. Down to business now. He's not driven by money but money will now finally talk. 3 year deal on the table. My guess would be that this would be signed in theory while over in Portugal but anything official (what matters) first couple of days back in England.

It always seems to me it's equally important how well you line the agents pocket as well as what offering the actual player... 😉
