What a contrast our future with and without him could be...

With Ndiaye - Challenging for survival, selling him for £££, investing in infrastructure and playing squad

Without Ndiaye - Certs for relegation, little financial gain from him leaving, less attractive to investors

If it happens, hopefully it convinces some of the others to sign too.
We should do our best to keep the momentum going whilst there's an air of positivity about and progress talks with Foderingham, Baldock, Bogle, Lowe, Egan, Jebbison, Osula and McBurnie.

If Berge isn't for negotiating, I'd sell him and put the money towards O'Brien or Doyle on a perm. He's been here 3 seasons now, I can't see him being the difference maker over the course of a full season and I don't think he's irreplaceable.

Well I'll wait until anything official happens but this is the most positive turn up this summer for us. Certainly didn't think he would be staying if Marseille got involved.
Or that he'd sign a new deal.

That said he's pretty settled here with a young family, that probably is playing a big part too.

If he signs a new deal we might still lose him in a years time (If we stay up or not) but we can't argue we hadn't tried.
And I assume if we stayed up and he left the fee would have to be decent even if there is a fee release clause.

I really want to know why he suddenly started talking about Air Conditioning
Something about conditioning for the arrival or acclimatising is my guess, just got lost in translation.

Aye
And he doesn’t even play for us
The king is dead…….
My view is that he deserves all the respect in the world for what he’s done for our club, and he’s undoubtedly a Blades icon.

But, whilst never forgetting that, we do need to move on. And thoughts of retiring the number 10 shirt are ridiculous and an insult to Tony Currie, who was a better player at a higher level for us.

Agreed. Can't retire the number 10. Too many good number 10s in our history.

Think Ndaiye is going to be the best of them.

Tell you what, the social media team are pushing A LOT of Illy content. He really is the star product of a player that we've longed for and the social mediat team are clearly putting a lot into making him feel loved. The latest rumours better be true, or this is a horrendous way to tease the fan base!!

Here's the latest offering 🤩🇸🇳

In his interview earlier I'm sure he mentioned that he knows Ndiaye as well as Brewster. Can see how he knows Brewster from their Liverpool days but wonder how he knows Ndiaye.
Given the tweet says from Rouen, I’m guessing Larouci lived there too.

I remember an interview that ndiaye had a year or so ago when he said that from an early age he always believed he would win the balon d'or, he must realise that the chances of winning it playing for marseilles are about the same as winning it with us, or Everton/Fulham for that matter, hes always struck me as a lad who's got his head screwed on and always had faith in his own ability, I think his chances of winning the prize hes always dreamed of are increased playing for Sheffield united in the premier league against Europes top teams and having the Guardiolas and klopps and all the other European managers seeing what he can do up close.
