Cheers mate, so it’s between us and Rangers
Benie Traore (20)
Club: Hacken
Position: Forward
Notes: 9 games, 7 goals and 3 assists
I don't usually watch showreals, but got a bit bored at work. Happy if Benie Boy signs. The keeper who dummies himself and can't find the ball again on about 3:30 is probably not one to go for though!
TrueNorwich 2 years ago, spent nowt, sold Buendia, waved the white flag before the season started.
They strike me as a club trying to offload most of their current first team and trying to start afresh? I'd be shocked if Aarons doesn't go this summer for decent money. 22, England U-21 international with 250+ games under his belt (Inc 2 seasons in the top flight).True
I work quite a bit at NCFC - they invested in their training infrastructure, which is top class .
However , they have continued to water down their first team to the point where they weren’t really a promotion threat last season and have lost a few more of their first team players in the close season
It’s about balance - we went on the player spending pathway they went on the infrastructure one . We sailed very close to potential destruction, they are on the pathway to having the best house on the street with no tenants
We might be even worse off next season - handful of contracted players, Outdated infrastructureTrue

How big is the contract if its signed in concrete
Course he has - that’s how he gets to meet the playersHas he been shown round our medical facilities and treatment rooms yet?

We dream of Ponds ForgeNo, we took him to Ponds Forge.
I'm hoping when we get took over, seems an inevitable takeover, just a matter of time, that the new owners will revamp the club off the field. To do this fully we'll probably need to retain our top flight status for a number of years though which is something we've not done since Sir Harry Bassett. But in spite of the training ground the club continues to thrive in spite of it in terms of player development and we seem to have an exceptional academy recruitment. Brooks, Ndiaye, Che Adams to name just three have come in the 16 - 18 age for nothing or peanuts and have gone on to be top players for us.True

AyeDefinitely, but seems very unlikely. Any prospective new player would probably want to spend a night or 2 ideally in his new home town surely?
I don't think he's been in Sheffield today
Whilst in a way I get what you are talking about it's just not how it is anymore.Sometimes think the training ground situation is vastly overplayed
I remember going to Ball Inn to watch Woodward Birchanall Badger etc training. All you need is a pitch. Having heated coat hangers or a juicing machine doesn't make better players ... practise does. We've managed a constant stream of decent youngsters with what we have. A flash glass fronted building with exercise machines is not that different from our brick built building with exercise machines in it.
Some clubs can only ever dream of what we have already. YES anything new is nicer but some old hospitals give just as good care as a newly opened one. Obviously a covered car park for the Bentleys jag f paces and land rover defenders is essential
I imagine it's different for different players. Massively pampered players might want flash stuff. Others more down to earth. Etc.Whilst in a way I get what you are talking about it's just not how it is anymore.
You don't need the best of everything but if you want to be attractive to players signing and wanting to stay even you do.
Players also become to expect level of facilities too and if ours are not as good as what they've been used too by a long shot then it's not exactly great when you are turning up to work etc. The hard work is on the training pitches and facilities too not really on the pitch.
Our training facilities have been patched together in the past 20 years. And not to mention that until half way though last season the training pitches were practically unusable in bad weather especially during winter.
We can't compete with the really big clubs, but ours should be comparable with clubs of a similar size.
We ain't gonna be building a Leicester training facility but perhaps even just trying to get up to Burnley's facilities wouldn't be a bad shout.
And I'm not even including the academy facilities in this....
Useful targets to aim for but suppose we should take into account the fact that Leicester have just spent 9 seasons in the PL and Burnley 6 (before last season)Whilst in a way I get what you are talking about it's just not how it is anymore.

It’s the old working mens club that needs replacing with a new modern building like the academy building then yeah it’d be fine.If people took the time to visit Shirecliffe ,they would be less likely to slag it off,it's actually a very good facility.great indoor half size pitch.4 g full size outdoor,4 quality training pitches 2 of which are heated .
